  1. It is a pain, as my Zed will only be used on dry summer days and will be kept in a garage over the winter. I currently have a Cavalier as my daily runner, but that goes soon as I'll get a company car next month, so that problem is solved for me for the time being. But had right problems trying to decide what to do with my old car insurance wise. I just rang up and kept chopping and changing as my insurance company will have a runover period of 2 weeks. At that point, both cars were insured.
  2. Sure thing, they are 'decent' ones I think, not your halfrauds crap. Just not my cuppa tea. I collect the car the weekend after next and I'll take some photos and PM you. :)
  3. I'll sell them yeah. The pedal rubbers have been removed. So want new ones really.
  4. If it's in 2 weeks time, I'll try and make it as I'm collecting my Zed around there.
  5. Yup, like any credibility I may have obtained as well!
  6. Oh, it's a wind up?? LOL didn't read the thread in its entirity...that'll teach me!
  7. Must say I'm not keen, sorry. It's rather 'Max Power' style. You see these stuck on the doors of 1.1 Saxos and such like. I think a car looks much more slick and smooth when devoid of stickers and add ons. Just my opinion. You seem happy with them. :)

I still have no idea what the membership covers....but it's worth being in the club. Have had loads of help and friendlyness so far. :)
  9. Looks like I shall be at this....with my new Zed as well.

Droitwich? You're not a million miles away from Jeff at Zedworld. He's in Tamworth.
  11. Sure will, the exhaust sounds great. Exactly what I was wanting. Since Vielside make lairy kind of bodykits (no offence to anyone), I was expecting this to be very loud. Richard agreed with me that it sounded great. Sure, deffo up for a meet up. Still a bit unsure as to the day I'll be driving it back, but will let you know.
  12. I couldn't haggle him much, the car is almost faultless. It did have a slipping clutch which will be replaced, a full service and a few other bits and bobs. He knocked 100 off the price. I've payed 4,900 and it comes with a warranty covering engine and gearbox...including turbos. Didn't want to try and haggle too much as I wanted him to do all the work that we agreed on.
  13. Sorry chap, manual.
  14. Still unsure as to whether I made the right decision with the colour. The 2nd photo from the top looks great, but it looks beige in the others. In the flesh it looks loads better....
  15. ...can you buy them from Nissan? Are they the same as any other vehicles in the Nissan range? New car has a set of those bolt on race look pedals and I don't like them at all. Want to remove and fit original new rubbers.
  16. Oh right, yeah, was that the one with the full vielside kit on it? I did have a look at his other stock and they are all fantastic examples. Gio did all the checks to verify the age. All checked out. Have a copy of the grade4 certificate as well.
  17. Who knows fook all about zeds? Yeah, it seems a goodun, interior looks like it's never been sat in.
  18. Sure did. In actual fact, as I was driving it back with Richard, we were waiting at a set of lights and next to us was a mini bus packed full of university 'babes'. After a few of them had blown kisses and smiled at us....that sealed the deal!!
  19. PLANS for it are very limited. Exterior, will eventually get 99 spec spoiler, very very light window tints, clear indicators andJ-spec rear lights. Possibly smooth the stonechip from the bumpers too. Interior will have the leather conversion kit and that's about it. :)
  20. Had the car inspected yesterday and it is really really tidy. Engine is a complete gem, smooth and increadibly fast. Only done 50,000 miles :) Had Gio and Richard Smith to have a good look over for it with me. Found out the car has a mappable ECU (although can't remember which one, Gio will know, not sure what power it's running. Boosts well over 7PSi, not sure what it does boost at, but the needle goes over 7 PSi Anyway, love it to bits, collecting it in about 2 weeks, it's having a new clutch and full service done to it. On test drive, I totally obliterated a GTO. Also comes with expensive 18" Rays split rims. Nice 9" wide at the rear :) one is missing a centre cap though, so currently on the hunt for one. Has a very expensive Veilside exhaust, thought at first, it would be too loud, but it sounds stunning and totally non abtrusive. Massive thanks to Gio and Rich, great to meet you too, couldn't have made a concisive decision without you. Very very gradeful and much appreciated.
  21. LOL, cheers. I shan't be removing any of the car's functionality. Like smoothing stuff in, removing this that and the other. I like the factory look with subtle changes. IE, an OE spoiler, J spec lights and such like.
  22. Might try it. Just wondering if anyone has tried it. If it sits at the wrong angle or looks to be incorrect, it'll come straight off again. Trying to think of other cars that might share something similar....struggling some what.
  23. Although the rear screen on the Zed is undeniably bigger, the physical size of the wipers does look very similar. If you look at the top of the wiper on the zed, its sweep doesn't cover the entire height of the screen ***Thinking out loud***
