Here Here, bunch o' Wosses! I'll be in the pool.
  2. I used to get around 300 from a tank when I was driving up and down the country on the weekends from camp to home. Now that I am commuting every day in traffic I reckon I get about 200. Not nice, I want a run about ASAP especially in the rain.Dave
  3. Sorry to hear that mate. Hope you find something else soon. There's lots of IT jobs about at the moment. Dave

    Pmsl, Ffs!!
  5. Mwahahaha!!!! Sounds like a Monty Python day! Sorry to hear mate, but made me chuckle after I woke up in a grumpy mood!
  6. Good meet, nice phots. Wish I was there!
  7. Wow, that looks like a good meet. Great to see the 350z and the datsuns there as well. Nice Pics Si. Dave
  8. Can't wait to see it mate. Beautiful colour too.
  9. Oh well, speak of the devil. I was filling up earlier and a police riot van pulled up in the next pump. He had a word with my mate while I was paying: Is this your car? No said my mate. Well tell your mate to sort his number plate out before I do! The number plate has been on for many years and always passed MOTs. Plus its completely legible and very clear.
  10. The handbrake goes to the drum bit unside the disc. There's a tightening bolt hole on the disc (with a little grommet covering it up). Have a look in the workshop manual and it'll show you.
  11. Good on you guys for giving up. Fortunately I've never smoked anything other than a bit of the funny stuff at college. My mate however is having a nightmare. His mum was diagnosed as having lung cancer a year and half ago. That was a shock to him (they both smoked lots). Then two weeks later she dropped dead. He's been trying to give up since but has such a hard time. I'm sure a lifestyle change would help, his social time is at the pub which is a nightmare for stopping smoking.
  12. American cars always look like they've been put together by big fat Americans to me! Look at the engine in that though. Jesus.
  13. Not really my cup of tea,but arn't several small pipes supposed to flow better than one big one? like with several inlet/outlet valves on an engine. Just something I heard so could be wrong. In which case maybe technically its a good idea?
  14. I asked him last night if he had any phots he'd taken himself. Funny he hasn't answered!?
  15. I'm glad you say that as I'm about to do mine, when I get the time. Won't help the growing patch of flaking paint on the front bumper though! Need to get that resprayed. :headvswal Actually does anyone know the average price for a 99spec respray also what is the colour code (in my sig)? My dad is a sprayer but he is down in Cornwall.
  16. Hoping to make this my first meet up here in Kent. WeeHee!
  17. Great news mate, really chuffed for you. Dave
  18. Keep it Harve, its just not worth selling it. Especially when its a nice one.
  19. F*ck Mac! thats looks so fast I had to rub my eyes; and I've just been cutting up chillies so my eyes are stinging luck f*ck now!! Dave
  20. Lol, anyone up for bidding a couple of million on it? We can pair up and knock it up. Blatently a con so it would be a laugh. Dave
  21. I think someone was saying about one similar to these when I posted up about my lack of heater matrix a few weeks ago, AndyP maybe in an MG? I remember them saying they were a waste of time! I'm considering setting fire to my passenger seat each morning! Dave
  22. PMSL, good answer!
  23. I had a HKS like that on mine and it was great through the summer, then after some big journeys in the rain I trashed the MAF, then got a blitz sus and did the same again! although I am suspicious that the second MAF had been repaired as it didn't have the inside mesh. I've now got a standard air box on and an Apexi filter waiting to be fitted. I'm considering keeping the standard air box on until the rain calms down in a few months.
  24. Sorry not to be any help mate. Mine was set up by Thor racing by the previous owner. I can take a photo of the screen if thats any help? I don't touch any of the buttons as its fast as fk in normal mode, don't even need the overtaking bit! I do need ot get round to reading the manual and learning how it works though. I've got an air'fuel controller as well that just does its thing.
