  1. Contention may be an issue to? is it a noticible slow down at 'popular' times when lots of people on your local loop are using the internet.
  2. I've got a new £100 tyre with a screw stuck in it if you are looking to save cash. I replaced both rears so have it spare. Repair is about £10-15 and guaranteed. I personally wouldn't take it on a track, but I wouldn't take cheap tyres on a track either so makes no difference. I drove for 4mths long distance drives on a similar puncture repair on my old Pirelli's without problems. £40 if you're interested, I'm in Maidstone/Tunbridge Wells. Dave ps - its a 265/35/18
  3. Have you got the manual, if not then download it. Those beeps must mean something, mine doesn't beep after ignition!

  10. I have a 99 spec size plate on mine and have never had any trouble. The MOT said the plate was too small but legible and passed me. I reckon that as long as you don't make it with a funny font you'll get away with it (touch wood). Dave
  11. Because you only have one router on your network (one exit/entrance point) you'd probably just use a default route ------- ip addr. subnet next hop ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 'exit intf. of router or ip add of next hop (remote) router 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 basically means any traffic that isn't on the local network is sent out the exit. You then put a route command on the remote router that sends traffic for your network to your router. The alternative is to use one of the dynamic routing protocols talked about on the link in the post above. With these you advertise the networks connected to the router and the protocol does the rest. This probably wouldn't be used in your situation due to overhead on a low cost router. Are you using cisco routers or just a windows server that is acting as a router?
  12. Oh FFS! I'm so sorry for you mate. I've been there and know how you feel. Feel free to call me if you want to bounce ideas off of someone. edit - furthur to what Nitro said. Theres a company that specialise in low milage reconned jap engines. They import them and they are guaranteed with a good rep. Cant remember their name but I'll try to find it.
  13. Oh, almost forgot. The reason I drove so far was because I had to go to a 'speed awareness' course (instead of points) and moving house. It wasn't as bad as you'd imagine and the instructor who was an advanced driving instructor was interesting. It doesn't change the fact that I don't go racing round schools and built up areas anyhow. Just to prove how useful the course was going to be, I had a G reg (maybe modded? as it didn't look like stock) Porshe 911 do a bit of dogfighting with me! It was cool to go against the Zeds main rival. We raced for a bit (pretty equal) and then he haired off up the inside lane weaving in and out of traffic like a bit of a reckless (loon/kn*bend?, depending on your point of view). I let him go as thought it wouldn't be too good losing my licence on the way to a speed awareness course!
  14. Looks nice mate, good on you. The paint looks nice and deep.
  15. Its been a long drive! my brain hasn't had a clean yet. Lol, bit of both with the front bumper. Since someone pulled out in front of me in Cornwall and I spun the car the paint has got damaged and cracked. I'm going to get it resprayed ASAP.
  16. This is what a Zed looks like after driving 800miles in two days on Britains lovely car friendly salty roads: This is what a Zed looks like after spending 3 f*cking hours cleaning the lovely salt, grime, and cr*p off: Hmmm I like my clean Zed. It may have got scummy but I still got to drive a Zed for two days and it felt damn good. Lots of Love, Dave the car cleaner
  17. Bl*ddy hell! I've been using mine everyday for work including the snow, not sure if I have any action shots but I did get some action. Dave
  18. Circlip pliers work perfect mate. Although I've lost mine and use a tiny allen key instead! Dave Ps - looks lovely, especially the wheels!!
  19. Any one know the colour code of mine ?, I need to get my front bumper re-sprayed.
  20. Si - Thats the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title!
  21. Oh what a big group hug thread. I want to meet everyone! in fact anyone would be nice as I've not been able to get to any meets for sometime. Dave
  22. Pmsl! I'd probably get less punishment if it was drugs than for going at 39 in a 30mph zone (at midnight, on a two lane road).
