I've had a Zed where the Targa tops leaked a little, only drops though. Nothing of any major concern. The same one made a few noises but again not of any concern. My current one has no problems at all. Its a long way to Thurrock but if you can do it it'll be worthwhile to see what a good nick Zed looks and goes like. As you say there are a lot of dogs out there and its not always obvious with the excitement of buying. Dave

I swear by my 99 spec polyurethane front. I wouldn't go near fibre glass ones now. I've bumped someones tow-hitch and the half golf-ball ding disappeared in the sun within a couple of hours. Also span the car after someone pulled out in front of me and I ended up against the hedge. The only damage from both incidents is cracking to the paint which I'll get resprayed as soon as I can.

Proabably not worth selling mate as you'll lose so much money. At least it has low milage though. 4k-4.5k maybe? and people still having lots of problems selling at that price. Stash it away till you're more loaded!

Hello mate, Havn't seen you in a while. I'm up in Kent now. What sort of condition is the bodywork in with regards to metal-worm? I reckon its easy to spend the amount of money reconditioning as you would on another good nic car. Then again if the body is sound and you put a new (plus modded?) engine, manwell gear box, etc you'd have an awesome machine.
