I've just spoke to Paul on the phone. He's now got the car back off of Nick and is refunding the tickets that were sold. Apparently only 75 tickets were actually paid for with the others supposed to be paid for before the auction. Regardless of what actually happened he is definately making the right decision! I wouldn't envy anyone having 75 disgruntled car owners on their doorstep. I'll post up once the money has been sent through. Dave

The guy got back to me saying the draw was won and I could believe what I want. I've asked for a list of names and addresses of participants. I think its law that anyone can ask for these, does anyone know the ins and outs of these things with respect to the law. I don't generally like to jump to conclusions but this thing looks so fishy I can't see the water they are swimming in. Scams around the forums shouldn't be let to happen. I can understand that sometimes things go pair shaped but this at least needs investigating.

I can't post on SOC yet , I had to re register and it hasn't been activated yet. Kamikaze could you post on my behalf that I also have his details. I'm not going to post them publicly but if people have bought tickets I think they should have them.

It looks dodgy as hell. I can't see how anyone could be stupid enough to do it so amateurly (sp?) if he is telling the truth. The winner was 5miles down the road for christ sake! I'm giving the address out if he doesn't reply to my mail. TBH I think its only fair that all the people who bought tickets should have it anyhow. I think a few of the skyline boys are paying a visit. Maybe it requires some action? If I was still based down there I could go and have a chat :mac1: . But I'm miles away now and frankly have so much on my plate I don't want the bother. Maybe tomorrow he will do some explaining when he realises most of the internet community are wanting 'a word'.

I've been reading through the forums and its just ridiculous. He hasn't even been on some of them to tell people whats happened. He specified a date and time and then turned up early (even though people were there and didn't see him), then 'got kicked out' of the services (yeah, right like thats going to happen). So he went to another car park and got one of the peoples girl friends to do the draw. It just so happens the winner lives in Bournemouth! 5 miles from him!!

Ah f*ck! I'm so glad nobody else on hear bought one. I'm just looking through my email to see what details (phone, address) I have. I spoke to him on the phone and he seemed alright to, plus I was based just down the road not long before the raffle started. I feel embarrased that I put it on here now. I bought two tickets myself.

Release the fuel cap and leave it for 10mins. Use something to soak the fuel up as it stills sprays for a second. Thats the cowboy way to do it,wheres my spurs? Or you could do the relay thingy like sensible people.
