  1. Mines the dirtiest its been at the moment. Normally I wash it at least every weekend but with moving and starting a new job I havn't been able to. Job for tomorrow I reckon. I've had forty quids worth of Maguires in the boot for the last week trying to get a chance to use it! Dave
  2. My god, that is truly disgusting. :nelson: Proper Barry-boys job. Dave
  3. Mine has no air-con and no heater matrix. Apart from the Maf going (again today) its ultra reliable and didn't even get hot on a hard track day at castle combe. I'd definately consider removing it if I had another one. I miss my heater matrix though, its bl*ody freezing at the moment. Its warmer to open the windows than put the fan on to clear the windscreen!!, the fan freezes my feet!!
  4. Passed a silver Zed in Paddock wood, near Tunbridge Wells today. Dave

Went I was going to Combe trackday last year I thought 'yeah no worries, I'll power the back end out, give it some opposite lock and bobs your uncle, sideways action followed by good rescue'. The reality was not so easy! I did the same as you and then spun around a few times. There are so many times I've gone sideways on the roads and recovered it and thought yeah cool, but I don't think I've ever really done it purposefully. I just got carried away and tried to stay cool after while calming the brown starfish down! I'd like to learn how to do it properly one day.
  6. I know how you feel mate, I went and saw a mortgage advice person in an estate agents. She was completely independent and very good. I'd definately recommend it just so you can learn about things that are involved. It was ridiculous though even with our combined wages I could only get about 90 ish grand over 25yrs. It seems so crazy to be borrowing over longer periods. Hopefully the missus is going to get a job that has accomodation for us both then we can save some money up. We want to build our own house eventually. Any way don't get down over it mate, there are things out there. The first time buyer deals where you own 80% and other stuff like that. Dave
  7. All the best bud. At least you're up for it. I'll stick to civvy street thanks!! Let me know if there's ever anything I can do for you. Dave

Lee threw away all the bull and dogma that is prevalent even today in martial arts and got down to the basic question of hurting the opponent in the quickest most economical way. Training at the shaolin temple since a child is undoubtably awesome but they still do way to much showy stuff that 'would kill the opponent due to my awesome inner power!!' . People like to believe it but it goes out the window when lamped in the face down the pub.
  9. Welcome to Zedland Kamikazi, its a great place to be! Happy new year. Dave
  10. Kent Si. Maidstone and tunbridge wells mostly. First time I've spent any time up this way. Cheers speedemon! Dave
  11. Started my new job today. First day brain meltdown and all that but it went well for first day. I'm absolutely knackered now though.Civvy street has been ok so far. I even took a wrong turning on the way up to Kent last night and ended up next to a shell garage with much needed optimax, I was getting low and it turned out I wouldn't have got one on time if I'd gone the right way! Merry Christmas to all Dave
  12. Lol, thats 10 more than I've ever done in it mate! Good to know its there. I'm the not so proud owner of 9 points now though so am driving round slow like the scared criminal that I am in case I loose my licence.  Just have to get to the track this year I suppose!
  13. Picking up a unknown Zed without looking at it is very very risky mate. There are more dogs out there than good ones. I guarantee that in the long one you'll spend many thousands more if you do this. Have a look at whats for sale here, at least you know the history then. You'll definately benefit from spending more and getting one thats already had plenty of work done on it.
  14. Mines currently in need of a spot of paint on the nose from when someone pulled out in front of me without looking. I ended up spinning it round on a small country lane, fortunately it was only a bit of paint damage and a crack in the plastic thing underneath.
  15. Thats looks great Dave. Good work!
