  1. It sounds interesting so I may pop along - be good to get a few Zeds there!
  2. Is that a standard paint colour as it looks amazing!
  3. It looks interesting.
  4. Thx - did the hairdryer and wrench but to no avail. Managed to strip the leather off. It must be strong threadlock!
  5. Attempted to remove the OEM gear knob. Epic Fail. Mr. Razo will have to wait until it can come off!
  6. ZCentre make their own bumpers??
  7. I have an AVCR and SAFC but they are unplugged until I can get them set up properly by someone who knows what they are doing.
  8. Does anyone recognise the make of the front spoiler on my Zed? It has no markings on it, or inside it that I can see, and the nearest I can find is a similar VS spoiler on a skyline. Would like to find out if poss. Thx.
  9. That makes the waves down the road in Chesil Beach seem tame..
  10. SO what are the differences between all of these types. My JDM ones have an extra wire to illuminate the indicators which I could never understand!
  11. So, I had my coilovers fitted today on the Zed. Anyway, after the garage had fitted them I took the originals home and noticed something on the parts which I hadn't seen when the car had been on the ramps. I thought the car had just standard shocks/springs since they were so rusty... I noticed some green beneath the rust and after having Teins on my previous Zed, I thought I would investigate... Ta da! They were Teins after all! And I didn't know this in the slightest! So, it looks like these could be useful to someone. So, I am thinking a good clean and stripping down might result in usable Teins again. Does anyone think this is a good idea knowing that I have no clue how old these are? Also, any pointers on what to use on these to make them good again? Cheers, Greg
  12. I think someone had way too much spare green leather. And the paint is two tone - which could be nice if the lines of the car were stuck too. But obviously was someone's cup of green tea!
  13. So, my handbrake lever looks pretty tired. Its original Jap spec (93) so 20 years old with chips/scratches etc and I would like to cosmetically improve it. Can the actual handbrake lever be removed or do you have to remove the whole handbrake lever assembly? Can you get handbrake lever covers? Any help appreciated. Greg
  14. Mine failed yesterday also, just to keep up with the trend! Emissions and believe this - the colour of the indicator bulbs - not orange enough! Big up to Jeff at Zedworld with some brilliant advice! GT
  15. Happy Birthday Mark also! 25.....yet again?? :)
  16. On the original subject of this thread...the rear mat is in the front. That's all I spotted!
  17. Also, the veilside rear bumper is in the paint shop being primed ready for painting. That's something to fit in January. It will make the side skirts blend in more. I have tried to get a Hiro rear bumper to match the side skirts but they are so difficult to get from Japan..
  18. I have some 25mm H&R's, and some extra 10mm ones if they are needed. I also have another set of alloys with slightly different offset if needs be. I want to get the look right. The difference is about 30mm measured with a simple ruler (uncalibrated mind!) but it is about how it looks in the flesh. Just hoping the rain stays away tomorrow! Reverse panel will be on next years list once I have sorted out the bonnet and the aerial.
  19. So, will there be a Bournemouth meeting next year??
  20. I haven't a clue - will have to take a look at it and see if there are any markings on it. I have seen it on a few other Zed's - I wonder if anyone on here knows the make? Greg
  21. Today - fitted different rear lights. Thanks to Andy for the amazing refurb on them! They look better than the photo suggests. Tomorrow will be rear wheel spacers.
  22. I've also been caught slowing down from a 60 to a 30 a few years ago (39mph officially), which is very frustrating. To top it off, the notice came on my birthday, so it really made that day!

  24. Thanks all for the advice. Its a weekend job so I'll let you know how it goes.
  25. With the mileage that low - quite a bit. Especially if mint and has all that MOT. It would be nice to get it below £3k...but if it is unmodified and completely original I have seen prices a lot higher..
