ah well thats pretty slow, least you can still drive it, gives you time to decide the car's fate or time to get some pennies together.

Sorry to ask again mate but apart from the low comp reading what other symptoms of ****edness is the engine giving? Is it running poorly? Lack of power?

What is the engine doing wrong anyway mate? Is it running that badly?

Nae problem mate, just wanted to clear up the little inconsistency for future ref, as I'm planning to do a compression test myself shortly, a bit scared to though lol even though car seems healthy and strong.

Was it the original pakcaging for the bonnet? If so you're ok and can claim, if not then they will deem it as not packaged properly and you've no claim.

1 bar is 14.2 psi so that should be 142 for a new engine? Or did you mean 11 bar mate?

I get about 200 at most, all my driving is town driving though and I have a habit of sitting in lower gears!

I would be confident in saying condensation is the culprit.

Ok had a problem recently where the heaters blew out cold air even when set to 40, now the only place i can get hot air is from the vents at your feet, everywhere else its cold, is there anything I can check or do to sort this?

Speed sensor problem, just like my own has!

Fuel leaks in the engine bay? Mine does this as well.

When car is hot it blows hot air out fine from all the heater vents except the center ones, now most the time the air is cold from here, tho occasionally it is still warm as normal. Any ideas?

The clutch is not hard to change.

It does say they are guessing at the cause.
