What a lucky escape I had today, finally gave the burd a go in the car as she's been wanting to drive it for ages.....managed 500 yards before sliding off of a straight road and landing us in a field (no fence).....after digging a nice hole in the ground with the rear tyres trying to get out and after standing about looking stupid a white van man stopped and towed us out the field. After a wash the cars fine....no damage! A valuable lesson learned though.

My controller I also have to adjust between the summer and winter as 1 bar boost in summer is not 1 bar boost in the winter, its bloody annoying.

Careful with the fan, it's rather delicate. Best thing for it is some electrical de-greaser to get all the crap off the fan unit then apply a very small amount of something like vaseline, and I mean small and that should stop the noise.

Slipping clutch usually most noticeable in 4th/5th gear, from low revs put the boot into it, watch the revs climb whilst the car goes nowhere.

Yes it's a good idea to install a boost controller, allows totally accurate control of your turbos so you don't kill them. 14psi is fine on standard turbo's as long as they are in good condition.

I must be the only person that doesn't like the clear 99 spec lights for the back of the Zed, it just looks wrong, even on a 99 spec car lol.

How do you get that to show, my car has aircon/climate control but I've never seen the outside temp anywhere.

Getting them done cheap is a false economy and would probably end up being more hassle than anything else mate.

Only thing I have seen that has caused a delay in boost like this is a weak spring in the wastegate actuator, was opening very early so boost was taking much longer to build up. Strange problem tho so could be many things.

My car is running 14-15psi and pops occasionally but never as much as your car seems do to, my car is also set to run just a little bit rich, maybe yours is putting just a little bit too much unburnt fuel through the exhaust. Also you say it takes the whole of the rev range to reach the max boost setting? That is very wrong, unless your boost gauge is shagged it should reach max boost around 2500-3000rpm.

Don't expect a pack anytime soon, i've been waiting 6 months.

13-15mpg, almost all town driving and low gear high revs to boot.

I'd be wary of sticking that kinda tyre on a high powered RWD car like a Zed, can only end in disaster....buying cheap tyres is not clever.

Was told to get these from Nissan but went to the local Nissan dealer and they said this plug has been replaced by 22404-1P166 which has NGK part number PFR6G-11. Before I go and order these can anyone shed any light on this, from previous dealings I've found Nissan dealers and car dealers in general to be useless. Ta.
