  1. It was good to put some more faces to names yesterday and to see some serious flying machines too! The Zed crew did themselves (and everyone else) proud with their performances and, frankly, looked sooo much better than most of the other machines there. With the exception of that SWB Audi Quattro... that was just porn...!!
  2. Would you be a gem and fetch those side repeaters with you if you have them handy please, Lee...? [/hopeful Mondo]
  3. I might take you up on that offer, Lexx - early doors is no good to me tomorrow (sorry, Lee - we'll just catch up with you and Neen there)! I'll speak to the missus when she gets in and let you know if we'll be meeting you at Scotch Corner or not, mate.
  4. What time does this open tomorrow, guys? And how much is it going to cost me...??
  5. Zeta-S for me please :) Balance should be paid by the start of September. Cheers.
  6. 7am every morning, mate - I'll be hitting the road shortly, in fact...!!
  7. Get an earlier gearknob and have it retrimmed to your own specs... ;)
  8. The last 4 days have seen me converting mine to a manual box. What a mission that's been!! Nigh on 4 hours to get the clutch pedal in cos I didn't want to have to dismantle the dash (took less than 10 minutes once I'd done that, of course...). 6 hours to get the auto bush out of the back of the engine. A snapped stud in the manifold - downpipe joint took waaaay too long to drill out for my liking. Ages spent trying to get the gearbox into position and into the pilot bushing. All this was done on a drive so hardly the best working environment either. :( But... it's done now!! I have a manual Zed at last! Huge thanks have to go to Baz who ended up on the other end of the phone more times than enough, and also to Luke from Z Centre who was another constant source of advice throughout - it would have taken a lot longer without you, guys! And a massive, massive thanks to Eggs for sending me a braided clutch line as mine wouldn't arrive in time!! :thumbup1: Manual... yay...!!!!
  9. Are we at £559 or £524 now (based on paid deposits, presumably)...?
  10. Don't we need that 15th deposit paid though? Or am I reading it all wrong...?
  11. Have we really missed out on that final price drop....?? :(
  12. So any Skyline big brake package is a straight fit on our Zeds (wheels accommodating, of course)...?
  13. I quite fancy a nice run out to the coast... :)
  14. You could possibly mid mount it with the standard gearbox and just have the world's shortest propshaft...! Sadly, I don't know enough about the Zed yet to know what other transmissions etc that fit the VG engine...
  15. Standard. Oh. The previous owner was apparently told (when he bought the car) that it was chucking out over 500bhp...! Can't say I ever believed that for a second myself. Guess I've got a bit of a blank slate here to play with, eh...?
  16. I discovered this on my ECU today: Any ideas what it translates as...? Zedworld haven't been able to trace the work they did as the numberplate isn't on their records, and I don't know what the previous reg was.
  17. I might even turn up in a manual Zed...!!!:blink::clap:
  18. I've paid my deposit and, to be honest, I can't wait to see the price drop even further...!!
  19. I quite like the idea of a massive convoy to a scenic destination... considering how rare Zeds are on the roads these days, the sight of a procession of them together would make the hairs on my neck stand up!! So: convoy to scenic spot. Make it happen please!
  20. I couldn't love that wide-arch kit any more than I do right now...!!!:tt1::surrender::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:
  21. My car's far from mint (sadly) but she still drew the crowds. I was just really surprised that I was the only only at either show!
  22. I've been to two shows in the last couple of weeks - Thoresby Classic Car show at the end of June and Cars In The Park in Lichfield this weekend just gone - and I was the only Zed present at both of them! :( Granted, that meant that my motor ended up getting a lot of attention, but still... we need to be promoting our cars far more! There's some frankly beautiful machines in this club and they'd be stealing shows left, right and centre. Let your flags fly, people!! :euro:
  23. Was it not reasonably confirmed that this was no longer an NA but had in fact had a single T3 strapped to it....?
