  1. i saw you park up near embankment, you waved at me in my red zed. didnt see what colour your zed was..
  2. the standard tyres are bridgestone re040X... but I have heard that they wear fast on the 350zuk forums? I figured the re050s would be a step up, or as I have read here, the Falken 452s might be good... i would save a lot by going with the falkens but I am not sure which to go for.
  3. hey i saw a white zed with blacked out rear light panel going down edgeware road now, anyone fro here? darren
  4. i have just got a set of Rays 350z 18" wheels (8" front 8.5" rear) and I need to get tyres 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 tyres (i think) I have not yet tried Bridgestone RE050A tyres, has anyone had experiance with these? has anyone compares them to Falken 452s? Also what is the difference between these two tyres: bridgestone re050a 92y and bridgestone re050a 88y thanks darren
  5. the way i see it, since this is an owners club, most people here want their cars running as best as possible, that is to say replace worn shocks and springs etc, bushes, pipes, underseal, whatever, etc not only oil changes, therefore the bills will get a bit high sometimes. some others tend to just run the cars thinking that its not worth changing such things on a 14 year old 3 grand car...
  6. i got my UK twin turbo last summer 2005, it had 35000 miles and was owned by a guy called jim marshall. he (and I for that matter) have spared no expense... but having said that nothing has gone wrong with the car apart from a worn subframe bush; bushes go on any car, its natural, but oil changes etc etc have always been on time and the car has never given any problems.
  7. HAHA i printed to this printer!!!
  8. is that the engine from the final jdm z31 300zx? iirc the final z31 had a dohc v6 24 valve single turbo which the z32 vg30dett is based upon?
  9. how much do those rays wheels generally go for?

  11. almost exactly the same damn thing happened to me in 2004, was stopped at a traffic light in harrow in my old hyundai coupe, some punk breaks late and hits me from behind. my car was in neutral and handbrake up, cant get much safer than that... the other party admitted total liability and paid up, but since, i have had raised insurance premiums because i'm higher risk, complete *****x. i have to live with that for 3 years (only have to disclose that for 3 years). darren

  14. mind you they do handle good though... i often race against my brother in his porsche 911 (993 - 1995) carrera 4 cab and my zed is quicker in a straight line, but he can outhandle and out brake me... not for long though...(i hope) ;)
