  4. depends on how much you want to spend and what spec you want, if your prepared to spend serious £££ then building and engine and getting some who has PROVEN experience and can show evidence of there work, then hi spec engine is the way to go but id seriously try and spend as much as you can on a good car to start with then play with the engine, coz if you buy a dog you will spend twice as much putting it right before you even think about mods and ugrades. just my 2 pence though chap good luck with the hunt:bow:
  5. You can remove an engine in about half a day if you know yuor way around it. its alot of work to convert an NA to TT, for the money you would end up spending on it you might aswell just buy the swb tt to start with. They do come up now and then. theres a few very tasty cars in the for sale section at the mo.
  6. If you have a HKS Type 1 turbo timer i just took my clock out and mounted it there perfect fit and looks good too see below.
  7. Ive heard good things about them aswell and will be contacting them after xmas for my bodykit fit and respray.
  8. Usually word of mouth or examples of previous work, Id assume you want something local so go round the garages and ask to see something they have just done in the workshop and look at the quality of the work.
  9. Depends on the garage and quality of there work you could pay £1500 for a crap job or 4k for a fantastic one also depends on type of paint aswell craig
