  9. Didnt have a clue fella so thanks very much
  10. My Brother wanted to get part of my bodykit as an xmas prezzie for me so he spoke to Dave and dave spent his day off last weekend getting it made and shipped and ready for xmas. Many thanks Dave your a legend cant wait to get the rest and get the car in for its make over. Merry Xmas Dave Thanks Craig
  11. lol I know thats why i asked if he rang them for the bigger sizes lol
  12. had the same prob on my last zed and ended up chainging nearly the whole front fuse box as theyd popped, may have been something else that had done it though i guess
  13. Usual scenerio check all fuses and relays as hes more then likely popped quite a few, Im afraid its gonna take you and a multimeter a while to find them all
  14. Dave did you call them to get the bigger rears as i can only see 9.5 on the site Id like a set of these same sizes as yours for my zed, should go well with the new body kit untill i can decide on what wheels to settle on.
  15. Wow i never knew that I thought you d have more probs driving a cold engine eg, cracking rads etc ( which i did on my last zed it split a seam in the cold weather coz i didnt let it warm up)
  16. Looked like a great meet, Im sorry i had every intention of coming until i did my coolant check yesturday moring ready for the drive and found my heater matrix had decided to self destruct on me :censored::censored::censored:
  17. Sorry guys im not going to make it, just discovered my heater matrix either has a leaky pipe or its fubar, so cars now off the road till i find out what the exact prob is. Never had to do a heater matrix before so any help greatly appreciated. Sorry guys Craig
  18. strange, my brother fully adjusted the clutch pedal and switch ( there was only one. and only one stopper on one side of the pedal ) as per instruction, and by following a walk through... its worked lovely. But today its gone back to being a bit harder to get into gear ?? the fluid level does not look like its dropped but but could this be a small leak somewhere not allowing enough pressure to fully disengage the clutch ?
  19. 2nd for me had a 93lwb TT then moved to Manchester so sold that for a more sensible long distance driver, now im back down south straight back into my swb
  20. here you go chap http://www.fastwaycouriers.co.uk/8HomepageGeneric.html
  21. Fast way are pretty good on pricing, not the quickest though
  22. does sound like it to me, change it do a coolant flush and see if that helps, Id put money on it does. That or you have a huge airlock in the system
  23. until they just touch the pedal or until the switches are depressed and not tightened?
  24. All seem to have the same issues. The down shifts are sometimes hard to get in, The clutch free play is annoyingly large, the bite is low... but it doesnt slip.
  25. my brother had the issue of very stiff gear selection on the box. to sort that he took the plastics off around the gear stick. That will expose the gear stick pivot. under that there is a nut and bolt underneath horizontally which connects the stick to the selecting rod undo that slightly and it will free up the stiffness. To do it he used a quater drive ratcher and a 12mm ring spanner i think. a little bit fiddly
