  1. Welcome to a very friendly and very helpful community... Steve
  2. Sorry to see this mate, was a great looking car. I crashed a VX220 into two trees once because of a wet patch...I know exactly how you feel. The replacement looks nice tho... Take care bro. Steve
  3. ...shame, I would have been up for it too. Looks like ill have to try and awaken the Midlands pose and arrange some meets for the new year. Used to do this for CXOC a few years back when I owned a Xsara rally replica. Managed to get some magazine appearances for the club too... ill see what I can do.
  4. looks wicked mate, mine need doing too. I'm not an oval fan which mine has. Very dated IMHO.
  5. Hold on, ive just liked your post and then realised I have a SWB................
  6. Glad mines an auto, less mess!!!
  7. looking to swap out my TSW wheels, not my style. Any offers of 18", possible 17s would be great. Will need good tyres on them too as the rears on mine cost £350 and have only done 700 easy miles. Check my pics for images as photobucket is not working at the mo. Will post when It works. Or check the link below, half way down. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?186101-Autumn-2016-zx-photo-competition-entries/page2 Cheers, Steve
  8. Before owning this car I knew nothing about them. I have owned it one month and have zero mechanic skills. I named 3 items, which for me was amazing. Just goes to show we spend more time under the bonnet than behind the wheel....
  9. I have a laser cutter, engraver at school!!!!!
  10. Mie was only 181...sorry dude.
  11. No wander this section is so quiet, maybe all Midland Zeds are already tucked up for the winter.....
  12. Cool. Me plus one other, so far so good.
  13. As title guys, if London can do it so can we... surely!!! Would go to the Surrey one myself but will need a fuel tanker behind me for the journey, besides I could do with a few more people laughing at what I have bought in the flesh!!!!! LOL
  14. Hi all, so far my 300zx ownership has been a little estranged but its you guys who have helped me with some superb, fast and honest advice. I may have gotten a little shirty on one of my posts but I was frustrated with my purchase. So decided to thank all of those who have given me some great advice, especially those who sent PMs with best wishes... cheers and may I enjoy 300zx ownership for many more years to come. :tt1:
  15. Press the large button when outside the car and let the tone like buzz sound ring for 15 seconds, then your done. I was stopping it after 5 seconds because it was loud!!!!! Jobs done.
  16. Looks stunning, what spoiler is that. Subtle.
  17. Tried one last code from the internet and low and behold it worked. Starts every time and sorted....I also read that if you sit on your keys and press the buttons on the fob in a certain way this will often cause issues needing a restart. Hopefully this is the issue. Another problem solved with the help of you kind folk. Back to polishing!!!!
  18. Possibly, maybe over the weekend I take all the metal work back off, put a tea towel under the battery, unplug lighter and then try from there....lol
  19. Sorry guys, tried all and it didn't work. The Cobra expert on the other end of the phone couldn't work it out either... Auto electrician is coming out on Monday!! :crying:
  20. I wandered what the hell that was for. Nice selector, where did you get that from, very futuristic!
