2017 Coffee and cars @ Great Escape classic cars
I have a few Subarus attending with me and hopefully a supra, so wont be too much of a loss. Also hopefully got a couple of 300s from Facebook too. Not bothered by the non attendance, we have plenty of other meets tbh, and this is only a 'ickle' one anyway.

Silverstone Classics 28/29/30th JULY 2017 SIGN UP THREAD and discount code only.
As we approach the end of the Silverstone Classic 2017 ‘Early Bird’ ticket discount period (Friday 31st March), it is customary to advise you of member tickets already purchased for this year’s event, scheduled for 28-30 July. Currently (up until Monday 27th Feb), none of your members have booked tickets. I will be sending you another update around the end of April, so you may wish to chase up those members who are yet to book, reminding them that lowest ticket prices are still available until 31st March 2017.

I assume these are just plug and play type fittings with no splicing needed? Cheers. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H3-8000K-XENON-CANBUS-HID-KIT-TO-FIT-Nissan-300-ZX-MODELS-/350976724449?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item51b7d7cde1:g:Q34AAOxydlFS1loX

New problem....LOL
Well, if I'm honest it was a little bit of sticking around where the throttle is attached to the rail at the front. The wheel thing didn't spring fully back but about 4mm which I couldn't see at first until running and I moved it back into place.
-
Crazy idea
True, just check out my journal and threads....
-
New problem....LOL
I will, which is what Jeff has suggested and when it stops raining I will do just that. I will also do the ecu check just so I know how to do it, sounds useful. Thank you too for the advice, its all going in...
-
New problem....LOL
LOL, not sure how to take the first comment mate.... thanks!
-
New problem....LOL
PS, I know I'm shooting myself in the foot by making this comment as you will probably not help in future but I get narcky and unless I say something it eats away at me a little. Sorry Jeff.
-
New problem....LOL
Jeff, whilst I really appreciate your help, as you are usually the first up with advice you have got to remember I have never done this sort of thing before....I am a total virgin at car maintenance and whilst for you this is a school boy error, for me it was something I wasn't aware of. I am sure that if I asked you to do something related to my job you would find it hard or difficult too. If that was such a simple starting point how come you didn't suggest that first....im not trying to be arsey, sarcastic or ungrateful, I'm just trying to get my message across that just because I have this car doesn't mean I know what I'm doing. I can clean it, organise events and add a comment here and there but as for 'the basics' we all have to start somewhere. I asked what the rail was called so that I can learn and give advice for others should this crop up again. Like I said thank you for the help and please don't be offended... Steve

am i the only one who thinks this is awesome
...and I love it. I am a rat rod fan sooooo...

New problem....LOL
I kinda new to looking after my own car, usually with every problem I pay someone to do it. So you are going to have to forgive the newbie mistakes. LOL
-
New problem....LOL
Yes mate, and WD was all I have at the mo. My Dad recommends 3 in 1, what about you guys?
-
New problem....LOL
Found my issue with the idling, it was a sticky throttle cable pulley. The rail that runs across the front of the plenum was dry and so with a good squirt of WD40 it freed up the issue and now she is sweet. Throttle pedal feels so much better too and pulls evenly through the gears. The clicky noise is till hear tho and when I tried to video to show you it started up fine...typical!!! Next time. Went for a blast with my partner for the first time in the dry since the rebuild and Fish was stunning, what a car! Love her! - - - Updated - - - Maybe someone can tell what that rail at the front is called for future reference....
