just been out in her.. that car, sounds mint! and pulls like a train. i need uprated turbos and screamer pipes in my life.

indeed. i've got bolts long enough if i can drill clearance holes... but those studs are made of actual lumps of the suns core and have eaten most of my drill bits.

my turbo to exhaust manifold is now missing 5/6 studs. YAY! havent got any drill bits man enough to go through the remaining lumps of stud either. why did they stop using brass bolts that didnt fuse with ****ing everything!?

this might seem a ridiculous question, but i just went outside to jack my zed up for the first time.. but cant see any jack points on the sill/seem, and not sure i'd trust it anywhere along there... where do you guys jack up yours?

only reason i was asking about whether it flooded on all 6, is, if it does, then its clearly not injectors, unless you were incredibly unlucky in that all 6 failed :P :P and more likely to do with comms. for that amount of fuel to be primed, the thing must think its on WOT from the moment you turn the key. it would be unusual for the FPR to fail. electrics almost always usually fail before mechanicals do fella. best stab is still ECU, or communication going to the ecu i would say.

does it flood on all 6 cylinders when she overfuels?

i did think pressure reg.. just sounds like its wide open. therefore holding no pressure.

gutted for you fella. when they are bitches, they certainly are the biggest of bitches. thats a massive overfuel. it'll be something stupid when you find it.

i need to check the rear targa drains then! i have a small wheel arch bubble about 10mm across, but looks like most the damage is below that from your pics. shall have a peak later :)

just spoke to zedworld. 2.5" at the turbo manifold and 2.5" at the mixer pipe... if anyone else is wondering :)

decatting my LWB twin turbo. Stainless front pipes going onto a japspeed catback system. what size gaskets do I want? 2x 2.5" triangular gaskets for turbo end + 2x 3" gaskets crossover pipe end? or is it still 2.5"? I get mixed results when i search ebay for them, and dont yet have the pipes to measure them!

if you do the FMIC, you should relocate the oil cooler to the side pod where the SMIC(s) were. they put the twin oil coolers in those side pods on the rx7 anyway, looked rather neat when i uprated them :)

put a tidy zed next to an m5 in a car park, and the choice is clear. nobody will be looking at the m5.

wow, gotta say, thats one hell of a job, but fair play for going about things the right way. That will be good for years now its sorted. Time and effort, you cant beat it! Did you sort the targa drain issue out? I dont actually know where they go to normally? I'm guessing out of the rear 1/4 sill somewhere hence the collection of rust on the rear arch you've got there. is that anything to do with how the skirts were fitted?
