Finally got mine taxed today. Took her for a drive and it's good to back behind the wheel!!! All I have to do now is strip it back down and respray it:whistling:

Did you know if Scotland goes Independent and you have AA cover you will need to upgrade to European cover!!!

3.0 troopers are good 3.2 are ok if the injectors have been changed as they leak diesel into the head. Pajeros are better the 2.8 only has a problem with the injector pump which needs new seals they only cost about £10 if you can do it yourself. But you should be able to get a reasonable 3.2 for your budget which if you delete the egr valve they are great not to bad on fuel either.

Got mine through the mot today, straight through which was good after the rebuild!!

If you do go for an audi, stay away from the dsg gearbox I have recovered a fair few of them with gearbox issues. Non of them cheap fixes
