  1. I completely understand where you are coming from James. I worked out I could afford a 350z for £200 a month and I spend a hell of a lot more than that (when you average it out) for the 300. Which makes me disagree with the above. Also, I am confident that insurance would be cheaper too. However, as mentioned previously, if you want an auto 350z you have to get an import which means more expensive insurance and you don't get the great exhaust note. The 350z has a different exhaust for the UKDM because us brits prefer a good burble! there is my two pence worth...
  2. No she doesn't come with the car. Funnily enough, that is not the first time I have heard that question!
  3. Red is a gooooood colour!
  4. Thanks mate, You should just go out and rob a few local shops, that should get you a few grand!
  5. No, this is the one you want! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290221122437&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D290221122437%26fvi%3D1 And yes is mine...
  6. Should I use a brush? or just shout at it?:headvswal:rant:
  7. There is a company in Germany that has been making these 1100 bhp monsters for a while. Probably a little too much grunt for a daily driver! I will have a cobra at some point. Not bothered about the original, a kit/replica will do me fine...
  8. If you've already got coilovers it is a "no brainer". drop it as low as you like, if it works out that you are rubbing the arches or hitting too many speed bumps then lift it up a bit. simple! BTW - I love the new rims, and slamming the car to the deck will only make them look better!
  9. More good advice from Pete. Track days are not cheap...
  10. I know that Wozzer and Tuff Les will be going along to this. Sounds like fun...
  11. Thanks mate, I am having a few issues getting used to the forum's new technical issues!

  13. where is that mate? I recognise the 2nd shot. I had a picture of kelly slater ripping a bottom turn there about 15 years ago! Where ever it is I am jealous...
  14. I think you need a little more practice Rich! lol
  15. Yeah, I think that is the idea. I have never installed one fully but I have watched it being done, and I have replaced several parts myself. I think you are going about it in the right way...
  16. Hi Paul, my name is Mike, although some people call me George (long story!) John's instructions are pretty much spot on. What I will say is that every zed is different. I now run Giant Slayer's settings for low boost, even though they produce around 14psi on his zed it will only make around 10psi on mine! I run basically the same settings as James Funge on my high setting but I have had to push the set up to 53% to get it to around 13.5-14psi. The high setting is now pretty good, no spiking and pretty quick spool up. If I had the time and inclination I would take it to a rolling road to setup properly. It can be a bit tricky trying to adjust it when on a publilc road. Best bit of advice I can give you is to make sure you turn on the peak setting, as this will allow you to see if you are spiking...
  17. Alanz - your solenoid is in a strange place. I thought most people (inc me) placed it under the nose panel? Shouldn't make a difference though...
  18. have a good one gents...
  19. They all look pretty good to me. IMHO the R32 is the only skylark to go for. The black one looks like a well set up motor, with the R34 block and R33 brakes that has to be the one to go for. plus it is the best colour...
  20. There is a trader on japgilrs who is offering a discount on all TEIN products. NISSAN 300ZX 89-98 - Z32 Tein Mono Flex Damper - £1039 300ZX 89-98 - Z32 Tein Super Street With Upper Mounts - £713 Check it out!
  21. Why are you so against coilovers? with a set of coilovers you can adjust the ride height to be "just so" (as I know you like it!). Also - you want to drop the car but you don't want the ride to be too firm! I'm afraid you will have to compromise somewhere along the line unless you go for an airsprung setup! lol...
  22. I know Sarah is the one on the left and Andy is the one in the middle but who is the lady on the right?
