I don't think they are all that bad. The only board I have not yet snapped is a Burton. It is a 167 floater. In fact I had a great day's riding on it in Chamonix a couple of weeks ago. With 30cm+ of pow pow nobody could catch me on it!

The best tyres I have ever had were the Toyos, but I now have the Falkens and can't really complain about grip. plus the price is good. There is a link on here somewhere to a site that provides calculations on side wall versus width. I think I saw coopers swb put it up...

Again Lymon is making sense :D You're so clever Eric! If the temp sensor is not working, or the connection is sh1tty then it will probably run rich and the idle will be higher than normal. I know this from experience. If the base idle has been ltampered with, this combined with a dodgy temp sensor will produce strange idle readings. IIRC the O2 sensor readings will also affect the fueling and in turn the idle. Mayve someone could confirm this? HTH...

Even if she was independent the most she would be looking at is around 0.35% That is the norm. bear in mind on a million pound mortgage that it is still £3.5k!!! not bad for a days work! seconded. HIDs all the way, best mod I have ever done to the zed, in fact it was such an improvement I added them to my current zed too. and likey joely, I paid about £200 each time and still think it was the best thiing ever. PLUS, you will struggle to see any difference with a new chip.

What about splitting the South East into smaller areas? We have loads of people south of the M25 who don't want to come up here and vice versa. I have attended a number of good local meets (at south mimms for example) and always had a laugh. I know there are loads of people around my area (watford, aylesbury, bedford) but I have never seen any of them make an effort to meet. Normally ends up being just me, coopers swb and wozzer!

reliable as any other 15 yr old car! With that budget you could buy an automatic for 5-6k and have a manual transmission conversion for another 2k. just an idea! I know there was a lovely auto convertible on here a few weeks back. have a look in the for sale section. HTH...
