  5. :clover:well, tomorrow i will be cracking on with my z. i'm absolutely dreddin it ,but at the same time excited that she's having the transplant. 1st job will be rear subframe swap/hicas delete.which should be pretty straight forward. then front sub frame with engine for as many deletes as poss! so as long as she doesn't fall apart ,i'll be a few steps closer to the next list of to do's. oh s***t nearly forgot about the gearbox .yes conversion also from auto. question. can anyone advise on the deletes for engine. so far i know of , egr, water bypass .......any other to do while lump out?

  9. i've got same problem only on drivers door. there's no adjustment.hinge is glued to body. they're very easy to replace though.easier to replace full hinge than the pins alone.if you're struggling to get them,i have passenger pair of hinges spare.

  13. sounds like you'll be needing funny car tires !!! to put the power down...especially if you're gonna be shedding weights as drastic as the boot. sounds like its gonna be a beast! be nice to see the result of the project on the strip.
  14. hello there! i'm pretty new to here like you.roughly 2 weeks, and i can definatley vouch for the club. seems like there is a really good set of owners that are happy to help and give their opinion. thumbs up pal!!!
  15. Do you know any programs or sites that could help a basic computer user like myself choose and experiment with colours for my car shell. As i don't do ps3s and xboxs so i'm struggling for an accurate blank canvas of my car.
  16. Just sat down and realised how well engineered these cars are. slight overkill with some tech in my opinion. But still amazing. Just about got everything i need apart from idea for colours,so all's good. But i could do with more knowledge on the na gearbox.Which i'm putting in my tt. Along with diff and rear sub frame. As i believe from past experience ,although not on these cars, that......the diameter of clutch and fly wheel is designed initially to suit the gear ratios and diff. Which is set up for the weight of the vehicle and speeds it's made for. So the point or question i have is that for gains in acceleration or aggression then the na gearbox etc, should be the right choice. ???? if anyone makes sense of this then please send their opinion as a mass of knowledge truly is power. thanks Lee.
  17. think i'm goin for na wheel performance clutch. cheers every 1
