  1. Back from the pub - thanks again for the kind words  I know where they were drinking and I know the landlord there so I might have word with him this week... It's actually a really nice area (NOT Croydon LOL) and I'm pretty shocked that this happened at all round there. Will see what happens... Steve :)
  2. Just taken a couple of pics. Off down the pub now to watch the footie and drown my sorrows :(
  3. Thanks for the support! It makes me even more angry to think that it could have been my wife's car and it could have so easily taken the driver's windows out  As said above, if you do stick up for your rights, then you end up in trouble :(
  4. Went baby sitting with my wife last night and we arrived separately as I had some stuff to finish off. When we left just after midnight, I gave her a lift to her car whch was a 5 min walk away. Dropped her off and waited for her to get in and drive off as there was a group of 5 hoodies walking towards her car. Off she goes and I drive on and turn around to follow her. As I pass the hoodies I notice that 2 of them are running and then there is an almighty bang on the side of my car that shakes the windows  I carry on driving until I get to some street lights so I can take a look. There's two great fookin dents in my driver's door! :( Looks like a large stone has been chucked at it, probably aimed at my window. I turn the car around as I'm fuming. Was seriously considering just mounting the pavement and running 'em over  When I caught up with them, two had left the group and disappeared. I pulled over and expressed my feelings using appropriate language  Didn't get out the car, as was worried about knives etc.. Made me laugh when I told one of them what I was going to do, he gave it the old "What? Why me? What have I done? " response  I wished that I'd had a tyre iron or (even better) a golf club in the car but I'd done 3 trips to the dump yesterday and the car was empty :( So fooking p*ssed off - didn't get to sleep until 3am. I'll post a pic of the damage when I've taken one... BTW it wasn't the Zed, it was my company Primera. But I still pay for the insurance and will probably have to fork out for the damage as well :( Steve :(
  5. This will obviously be after JAE so looking at August. If there are too many people on holiday then we might have to push back to September... Steve :)
  6. Not seen that, but I've had one of the flanges snap before. That casing seems to be made from quite a brittle metal that is prone to cracking :( Steve :)
  7. Think you're right Dave. There's no 99 spec rear spoiler on the red one in the driving scenes and it looks like early series 1 aircon controls on the interior shot as well :nelson: Steve :)
  8. LOL - the bit of rubber under the targa panels which seals with top of the side windows ;) *EDIT* Have checked Courtesy and can't find them on there :(
  9. LOL - feel free to vote fellas! Nice one Gaz - please ask the SC members if they want to come along as well! CheerZ Steve :)
  10. ROFL - subtle
  11. Thought that we were overdue a South East Rolling Road day. Please vote above if you'd be up for this. We will be in the capable hands of Surrey Rolling Road who looked after us well last October  Price is £40 a car inc vat up to 13 cars, £35 inc vat for 14 or more cars. They have also moved to bigger and better premises since last year, details are on their website - http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk Payment can be made on the day (cash, cheque or credit card accepted). However, if you are down as confirmed you are expected to show unless you get in touch before the day. 12. Good news Martyn - don't get dragged into the bargain basement price wars  Steve :) *EDIT* Yeah - and change your sig ;)
  13. Agree with Danny on this - his twin kit is a tight squeeze to fit under the headlight panel. I wouldn't recommend trying an untested product... Steve :)
  14. I've been running with slightly leaky rear seals for a couple of years with no ill effects. Mine only smokes when the car's been running on boost and then is sat idling for 4-5 minutes. If you can live with it, don't worry about it :D Steve :)
  15. Have a great day guys! :duffer: :duffer: CheerZ Steve :)

  18. This is commonly caused by lose heat shield on the exhaust. When the exhaust warms up, the rattle often stops owing to the heat expansion... Hope you find it! Steve :)
