  1. LOL - most of the parts for the rebuild were purchased in 2008 bud - it's taken a while to get here! ;)
  2. Happy birthday bud :happybday: Steve :)
  3. I've asked for "driveable but not mental" Gaz ;)
  4. Right, Noel (Turbonoz) has had my car for the last week and has set it up properly. He's installed some colder plugs, fixed a couple of boost leaks and a small fuel leak, produced a new custom map and setup my Profec B spec II. Many thanks to him for his patience and professionalism So, any guesses? :) Relevant spec is as follows... CheersZ Steve :) Edit: closest guess earns some rep and a pint :D
  5. Happy birthday Dave - have a good one! CheerZ Steve :)
  6. Congratulations Dave - sounds like you had a great time! Steve :)
  7. Thanks for the welcome back fellas - good to see that so many "old" members are still about :D Nah, not considered selling her - it's been 16 years now and she's part of the family! Looking forward to driving her some more to justify my 4k/pa mileage allowance on my insurance policy. CheerZ Steve :)
  8. Blimey, I'd missed all this. Please send Rich my best wishes. I'm in Leicester this w/e so will try to get in touch with him if he's still on the same contact details. CheerZ Steve :)
  9. Evening all! Glad to see the club is still going strong after another long time away for me (no, I've not been inside, just yet another addition to the family and mad at work!) After covering only 500 miles in the last 4 years of Zed ownership (since "that rebuild"), I've finally decided to get her mapped. This has been partly prompted by my understanding MOT tester's ultimatum on my emissions ("I'm not passing her again next year Steve - get it sorted!"). I have booked in with Noel (Turbonoz) for next week and will be dropping the car up to Leicester on Saturday and leaving it with him. Will have to update my garage (lol what happened to the Rides section?) and give the new forum features a spin. I'll maybe even get to a meet or 2 when I get the car back ;) Anyways, it's good to be back :D CheerZ Steve :)
  10. Hey Paul - good to hear you're still about :) I've not been active on here for a while, but still have the old girl. Drop me a line if you still have my number - be good to catch up... CheerZ Steve :) PS. I too remember Ztech only too well :(

  12. Thanks all (and belated happy bday Mikey) CheerZ Steve :)
  13. This thread has raised some really good, positive suggestions. This is what we need as a club! I can relate to some of the REO feedback from my work in the SE (many years ago now!) - hope this results in some positive action too! CheerZ Steve :)
