  1. Oh FFS! Is there another point to plug a sender into up there Stu? I assumed that I was going to use the US sender position... Did you put an Oil Pressure Gauge on yours in the end mate? CheerZ Steve
  2. Right, have done a search on removing the oil filter, but all the results relate to doing a complete oil change.. :( If I remove the filter, I assume I will get a flood of oil pouring out onto the floor. Is this the case? If so then I guess an oil change is in order as well  I have seen mention of an Oil Filter Removal Tool. Do I need one of these or is there a workaround? Many thanks Steve :)
  3. Thanks for the replies fellas! Here's a slightly better close up pic... It does look worse in the picture than in reality... :) Steve ----> eternal optimist :xxx:
  4. Nice one Mike - top fella! Steve :D
  5. Thanks Paul - will take a look tomorrow! :) Steve
  6. Thanks for the info fellas. What a dickhead :slap: I'm about to fit an oil pressure sender above the oil filter (one of the reasons for jacking the car in the first place!) - would this immediately identify a problem caused by sump damage? Steve
  7. Thanks Vijay - will take a look in the morning :D Steve
  8. I've managed to use my trolley jack to raise my Zed onto axle stands. However, when I got under there I realised I had not used the correct lifting point (despite using the online manual  ) The section I have used was not badly damaged but there are a few pressure marks and indentations :( (see attached pic). Can anyone tell me what I've damaged and if there are any possible implications? CheerZ Steve
  9. Sorry to dredge this one up again guys but I'm trying to find the 10mm nut metioned by Stu above for fitting an electrical oil pressure sender. I've attached a pic and any pointers would be appreciated. CheerZ Steve
  10. I quite like the purple in the 300zx brochure - very different! Bayside Blue is also good. Whatever you do though, that b'stard neighbour with the Punto looks like he's going to copy you... :D :D :D Steve
  11. Me too - search comes back with nuffink. Maybe some sort of indexing is required before it'll work... Steve
  12. Quite right - same goes for me! :D :D :D Steve
  13. My aircon was knackered for a couple of years and although it is not my daily driver, I found myself leaving it in the garage on hot weekends. There is so much glass around the cabin, it's like being in a mini greenhouse... Taking the roof off didn't really solve the problem either :( Got it fixed now and would not do without it... CheerZ Steve
  14. Drop 'em an e-mail - they ship all over so they should be able to answer your query. Either way, if you've asked them and it doesn't fit then at least you've covered yourself... sales@courtesyparts.com HTH Steve
  15. LOL - my favourite Chavmobile...
  16. Yuk.. :(
  17. You can't beat the 99 spec rear lights! Brings the back end right up to date IMO! Still got a conversion kit for sale if anyone wants it - £35 plus delivery or I can bring it to the RR day. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25456 CheerZ Steve :D PS. My Avatar pic needs to be updated...
  18. Hoping for 360 at the flywheel. Was well disappointed with my results at SE but I think I've traced it to a boost problem. Should be fixed by the 24th :) Steve :D
  19. I posted on there yesterday asking how many of them are going. Doesn't look like more than a couple at the moment  http://www.gtouk.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=381&start=30 CheerZ Steve
  20. Hi Steve They took their web site off line some time ago. I have heard that a new site is on the way under the new company name, Nisstek. MAC1 may know a little more about what they're up to.. HTH Steve

    I like his hair... :D
  23. I know it's a while away but I got this off the GTO forum... The idea of the best car from each club being given pride of place in the pub car park sounds interesting. I guess we'll need a list of who'll be attending before we get voting - post below... Didn't Mark (blackzx / sussex) organise this last year? CheerZ Steve
