  1. Hi Nick I've heard of a good place over near Chessington (not got the details to hand though). However, I've always taken mine up to SE Nissan (now Nisstek) in Essex (nr Chelmsford). It's a bit of a trip but they almost work exclusively on Zeds. Telephone 01621 858856. They are having an open day on Saturday so it may be a good opportunity to have a look and speak to them about your car! HTH Steve
  2. Buyers guide is here http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm UK models stopped production in 1994. Jap production stopped in 1999. A list of the different production year variations can be found on AndyP's site http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm HTH Steve PS. I can't think of any cons :D
  3. Take a look at the buyers guide at http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm HTH Steve

Jock's got a Conzult over here in Croydon. I can't speak for him but if you can make it over here then maybe he can hook you up for a diagnostic... Steve

I've got the UK 2nd Edition Brochure in front of me and Nissan quote 0-62 times as 5.9 secs (manwell) and 7.5 secs (auto). These are both TT of course. I've been in an NA as well and TBH I was still very impressed with the performance. More than enough poke to kill a Saxo and less turbo maintenance worries... Cheerz Steve
  7. :D :D :p
  8. * YAWN *
  9. Sell 'em! :D :D :D
  10. I got a letter from SE saying that directions to the RR place were enclosed. However, there was nothing! I'm not able to make it Saturday so directions to the RR venue would be good! Cheerz Steve PS. Called SE this afternoon but no answer
  11. C'mon Pete - you've only just Photoshopped your Avatar and now this already! :D :D :D You've obviously got too much time on your hands ;) Steve BTW - Nice scorpion :D
  12. ROFL - where do you find these pics James? :D :D :D Cheerz Steve
  13. Happy birthday mate! How old are you now then? :p
  14. Hi Vijay My bro-in-law is a good builder. He's refitted my bathroom, kitchen and extended my garage. He used to be a site manager for Laing and Crest building new executive houses. He's not too expensive either! PM me if you want his details... Cheerz Steve
  15. I've recently renewed with Carole Nash (http://www.carolenash.co.uk) on a classic policy - £350 all in. Limited to 4000 miles (I only drive it at weekends ), 34 years old with full NCB and 3 points from an SP30 in 2000. Only £150 excess and agreed value of £8000! They didn't care about the points or my zorst... Cheerz Steve PS. Norton weren't bad but they wanted a £550 excess!
  16. Get it! :D :D I'm very pleased with mine! Don't forget that you can not only set the amount of permitted spin (or turn it off!) - you can also set the electronic parameters for each of those modes. If you're not 100% happy with it then you can change it.. The Supra site have done lots on this and I know Andy P has published his settings on here some time ago. When Jock and I fitted it we took my car to the local DIY store car park and gave it a try. I was amazed - at almost half lock with foot to the floor we could not lose the back. I then turned it off and tried the same manoevre and we nearly went sideways into a bollard! I don't drive any differently now though (although I may be a little more generous on the throttle coming out of junctions in the wet now :D :D ) HTH Steve
  17. I'm 6'2" and I've travelled in the back of my mates Zed on a 300 mile round trip. The passenger had to have their seat forward a bit but it was fine... The only slight discomfort was the sun coming through the rear screen and making me feel a little too hot.. This was only a minor irritation though... The key is the leg position. Most passengers try to keep their legs together and put them to one side of the driver/pass seat. The only way to do it is legs akimbo - one either side. At least that's what I tell all of my female passengers :D :D Cheerz Steve
  18. I'm hoping for about 370BHP at the flywheel. Will be very interesting to see what the results are.. ;) Steve
  19. I had this as well after grounding the centre section on a speed hump. Turned out it was just a bit of loose heat shield above the cat. Check this first - it might save you a few £££s :D Cheerz Steve
  20. 1993 UK Manwell, just clocked 80k, no rust, FNSH :D Steve
