  1. Aarons's perspective on this is interesting but as he points out, the scale of the RTOC is probably far in excess of what we shall ever see 300zx.co.uk becoming. I didn't really anticipate getting free track days and the like for my 20 quid and I'm sure that others don't have the same expectations. The whole club ethos is about doing stuff together and furthering the interests of the members (be it organised group buys, insurance, social events etc..). I realise that we already do this to an extent, but as AndrewG points out, we really need to officially take on club status to enjoy the legal benefits... I still think it's a good idea and we do need input from members as to what they would like to see more (or less!) of. This really is an opportunity to have a say in how we would all like the forum/club to move forward... Cheerz Steve
  2. Sorry Paul, but as far as I am aware there are only a handful of people that have had problems with Jeff. Even if someone does have a problem they should be able to sort it out without resorting to this level of crap.. I saw Vinz and Jeff shaking hands and being very civil with each other. Andy is also said to have come to a truce with Jeff. I think it was probably a combination of boredom and booze which caused the problems this weekend. This is no excuse however, and feel really badly for Jeff and his daughter... If I had turned up at Billing to promote my business and recieved this sort of treatment I don't want to think about what I'd be doing right now..   Steve
  3. Adam, I suspected you wouldn't manage to get that tent pitched ;) . Hope you had a great weekend and look forward to meeting you and Vicky again! Hope the back's on the mend :D :D Cheerz Steve
  4. Know what you mean Jock - the journey back from Billing was "eventful". The Racelogic system can be set up to cut the spark, but you will need the optional "Spark cut interface". Not sure about cost so probably best to ask them for details... Cheerz Steve
  5. Well I just got back from... Oh, Jock's beaten me to it! Was a top day and just a little wet at the end. Far better than the forecast predicted. Top cars and great to meet more of the forum members :D :D :D
  6. Hi Jez As Lee mentioned, Jap Performance Mag is always good. Free ad with a colour photo and you know that your audience is fairly relevant... Good luck mate! Steve
  7. These are the same ones that Tony Lack installed on his car. I've seen them and they look great. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20785 Off to order some I think. Just waiting for the shipping costs from the seller... Cheerz Steve
  8. Looks interesting. Couple of questions though: What did they charge you for shipping to the UK? Have you received yours yet? If so, what do you think of the product? Cheerz Steve
  9. Looks like I'll be driving up early Saturday with Jock! :D :D :D 7am start?? WTF?? Steve
  10. The standard callipers can be used with the 315mm AP upgrade... Cheerz Steve
  11. C'mon Stu - where is it??
  12. Hi Andy Not many good garages/mechanics round our way that I know of. You may want to take a look at Abbey Motorsport (http://www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk/) who are just outside London (can be expensive though). It really depends what you want doing (general servicing or performance mods). Abbey are better for mods IMO. The online manual that Ajay mentioned is here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi HTH! Cheerz Steve

  16. Hi m8 I've just PM'd Konrad who organised the group buy. He speaks to Luke frequently so hopefully we'll get an update soon! Cheerz Steve
  17. SE's current catalogue quotes £1400 for the fast road rebuild plus £250 for removal/refitting (includes transmission oil refill). You may also need to replace your autobox oil cooler which is about £249 plus £49 fitting. Cheerz Steve
  18. I was going to watch this! *****cks to him, I'm off down the pub instead.. :D :D :D
  19. Hi Chris I've had the Bel Euro 550 for about 18 months now. I've had two other models previously and it's the best one I've used. It's more expensive than some but it's totally configurable (even down to disabling certain frequencies if required). Excellent product with good range and UK compatibility. You can get them from Bel Direct on the net for just over £300 - http://www.beldirect.co.uk/bel550.htm Also, Jaffa is selling his here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20636 HTH! 20. 3 votes now! C'mon you beige... :D :D :D
  21. They have now :D :D :D I like beige... Off to PPS soon for my full beige respray and beige interior! Steve
  22. This is the best Z32 forum on the net IMHO. I occasionally use others for reference but I check back here 2 or 3 times a day. I've been to a few meets and met some great people. It has a membership with a huge amount of technical knowledge. It also makes me LOL frequently! The Admins and Mods do a great and thankless job. Of course it's never going to reclaim the exciting and ground breaking feeling it had when it was started, but that's life. All things (including internet forums) evolve and move on eventually. It's up to us (the members) to decide on which way it should be going... Cheerz Steve
  23. Jock, PM me if you need a hand. I'm off on hols tomorrow at 10:30am but can pop round early if you need me. Cheerz Steve
  24. Hi Dan AP Racing do a 315mm disc which is suitable for stock Z wheels. SE supply the whole kit for about £900 (01621 858856). See AP's web site at http://www.apracing.com/car/brakekit/disc.htm Cheerz Steve

A man calls in sick one morning. His boss is quite p*ssed off and grabs the phone from his secretary to speak to the employee. "Yes I know you're not feeling well, but how sick are you?" he asks. "Well, I'm in bed shagging my sister" he replies. "Is that sick enough for you...?" :D :D :D
