  1. OMG! What's happening in March Ryan? Is it your birthday? Steve
  2. They weren't hugely expensive Jim. Not sure about the difficulty as it was done by my main dealer.. Like I said this was a while back on my first Zed (about 9 years ago  !) Steve
  3. Bad luck Mike - hope you get it sorted m8. Don't you go selling up! :slap: Steve
  4. I had this a few years ago and I think that it was related to aircon filters. Try turning your aircon off and see if the noise stops.. HTH Steve
  5. 313.7 ft/lb torque @ 83 mph @ 4513 rpm 291.2 hp @ 97 mph @ 5236 rpm Mods SE Boost Upgrade (14.64 psi!) SE max flow intake Straight through exhaust with decat Quite pleased with my results, especially as the SE RR day only gave me 269 at the fly... :slap: CheerZ Steve
  6. Great day and very good setup at Thor! I returned 291BHP and 314ft/lb at 14.6PSI. No detonation, just lots of smoke (rear oil seals) and lots of squealing (alternator belt adjuster is missing  ) Nice to meet everyone... I missed Matty and SRRAE though - D'oh! CheerZ Steve :D
  7. Only had a PTU failure, a dead battery and a knackered clutch (my fault!) in 7 years. Not my daily driver now but still very confident in it... Steve :D
  8. LOL - I think this qualifies as a complete road kill! M5 driver :xxx: Steve
  9. "Work in progress" :) Steve

Bolney is a small village just off the A23 towards Brighton Multimap They give us exclusive use of the village pub, cheap food and loads of parking. It was a great day last year and we had quite a few Zeds turn up. Open to all Jap cars tho.. There must have been 300 odd last year  CheerZ Steve
  12. Top man Vijay - owe you one mate! Steve
  13. Vijay, where would I get one of these and what should I ask for exactly? (Halfords didn't have a clue  ) More importantly, do you think that this sender will still fit? I've attached a pic of the one me and Jaffa have. There is a 10mm (outer) diameter connector on the bottom, and the unit is 70mm high end to end (plus wires/crimps). There is also a 12mm adapter if required... Any further opinions appreciated :D CheerZ Steve

  18. LOL - Class Pete!
  19. James, I think you've got the Avanti sender as well so I'll have to rethink this one... Doh! Is yours not connected then mate? Steve
  20. Oh FFS! Is there another point to plug a sender into up there Stu? I assumed that I was going to use the US sender position... Did you put an Oil Pressure Gauge on yours in the end mate? CheerZ Steve
  21. Right, have done a search on removing the oil filter, but all the results relate to doing a complete oil change.. :( If I remove the filter, I assume I will get a flood of oil pouring out onto the floor. Is this the case? If so then I guess an oil change is in order as well  I have seen mention of an Oil Filter Removal Tool. Do I need one of these or is there a workaround? Many thanks Steve :)
  22. Thanks for the replies fellas! Here's a slightly better close up pic... It does look worse in the picture than in reality... :) Steve ----> eternal optimist :xxx:
  23. Nice one Mike - top fella! Steve :D
  24. Thanks Paul - will take a look tomorrow! :) Steve
  25. Thanks for the info fellas. What a dickhead :slap: I'm about to fit an oil pressure sender above the oil filter (one of the reasons for jacking the car in the first place!) - would this immediately identify a problem caused by sump damage? Steve
