  1. Are we talking flywheel or rear wheel figures? Im guessing 500 fwhp
  2. Nice one, do you know if the crush washers for tubs and intake cam cover are reusable?
  3. Where are you looking at for the stand mate? Cheapest I found last night was this one for a 4 footer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ENGINE-STAND-4-WHEEL-FOR-STABILITY-1000lb-CAPACITY-HEAD-SWIVEL-360-DEGREE-NEW-/290716965568?pt=UK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment&hash=item43b014dac0#ht_872wt_1037
  4. About to order parts and would like to know if the following are 'one use' items and must be replaced: -Intake valve cover lock crush washers -Turbo copper washers Also, if replacing the rear oil seal will I be removing the cover around it and need a new gasket? Anyone used solid exhaust cam plugs instead of the stock rubber ones? Cheers
  5. I've not used them but came across this on ebay a while back. Interesting video if you've never seen it before as well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380072659398?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_5513wt_1037
  6. I use google chrome, it automatically translates
  7. Are all brake fluids dot rated? Is there anything we can use that isn't hydrophilic and has a higher boiling point?
  8. That's what I thought. Allan you will have to keep him in check, Zed owners want their cars to leave your shop still looking like a Zed:laugh:
  9. I believe France has already done this, there are no legal modified cars on the roads there
  10. Yowser, is the VQ30 difficult to fit compared to the VH45? What's the deal with the VK57DE? Is that the same size block as a VH45 but larger bores or something completely different?
  11. What are you going to do about it? Can you get it off easily enough and give it a tap with a hammer?
  12. Is this after the turbo failure Mark?
  13. Yeah it is I recognise the number. Nice bloke to deal with i've had some bits off him before
  14. Nice one guys. Reason I asked is I don't have the standard rev counter so no oil pressure gauge just the aftermarket one. When the engine goes back I don't need to do the relocation of the sender I had planned as I was only going to do it for the warning light:thumbup1:
  15. I used a ratchet strap, wasn't a problem. If they can hold a Zed engine they will take a golf engine no worries
  16. When the oil pressure sender fails like that does it mean you won't get a low pressure warning light on the dash or does it stay on?
  17. If your cars spitting water over the floor after a drive I wouldn't drive it at all, it will end up bad. I'd either pay for recovery to Jeff or poodle down the road then call the AA/RAC or whoever you are with and get them to take it there.
  18. Good luck with it Allan, judging by your car and the nose panel you sent me you will do great once your name gets about. Totally forgot about to thank you for the nose panel, I was away and it was waiting at the depot for a week to be picked up. I love it, cheers:thumbup1:
  19. Ride on mower? Tractor?
  20. Hideous looking car with the worst dashboard i've ever seen. Performance wise the new ones look pretty good on paper though
  21. Similar, but it has the angled ridge along the bottom that IMO makes it look alot better and more unique
