  1. What are you having done to the Z this time?
  2. Where is Steams these days anyway, haven't seen him post for at least 6 months?
  3. Is that cost saving re the lifters? Have you decided on a management system yet and are you going MAF or MAP/TEMP?
  4. So what do you do in terms of choosing camshafts? Do you choose something that works to complement the high powerband?
  5. I don't know a huge amount about velocity stacks but know you can change features of them to give different power characteristics, right? Do you have a particular aim with yours?
  6. Only this afternoon I was in the train watching all your YouTube videos of the car thinking how nice your Z was! Glad you're alright :)
  7. Happy Birthday Si, hope you're having a goodun bud!
  8. Yeah same here, best exhaust I've heard by miles....
  9. Very nice! What splitter is that on the 99 spec front?
  10. So is the water pump from another vehicle or completely aftermarket? How about the alternator, can the extra demand be supplied by the stock unit or do you need something with higher amperage? And the cooling fan, is it viscous as stock? I'm guessing you'll have something electric as well to work with the water pump overrun? Sounds really well thought out.
  11. Is that to free up a few extra bhp or for convenience fitting the engine?
  12. Are you going with an electric water pump? Are the cams chain or belt driven on the VH?
  13. Where you have the quote and reply buttons there is a 3rd button to the right, that's the multi quite button. I hit that for each post I want to quote apart from the last which I press the quote button for. That then brings up all the quotes in order and you can write after each one. For a part quote just press quote like normal and delete everything but what you want. That's how I do them anyway :)
  14. Thanks chaps
  15. Making the presumption that 2k is a superior paint I was wondering if it's possible to get a colour originally produced in cellulose, in 2k form?
  16. Out of interest what did Vibration free charge for that?
  17. I see you're point in wanting more space to work and a 'premises', but based purely on the numbers will it allow your work rate to increase to such a degree that you're net profit then not just covers, but exceeds your current? If not then I see it as a bit futile as you're going to have the hassle and expense of driving to work each day including buying a car to do so, expense of the premises rent, expense of kiting it out and you have to sell the Zed! Your work looks absolutely awesome and the fact you already have a customer base that's filled you up for next year is testament to that and I wonder if you even need the few extra jobs that you lost from working at home? I totally understand why you want them, but still think you should keep overheads as low as possible unless your going to be making substantially more.
  18. Ah yeah of course, totally forgot that
  19. What's the latest with this Bird?
  20. Nightmare, how long until you're back on track do you think?
  21. Richard Smith, what did yours cost you from Mike?
  22. Looks and sounds awesome Bob. Who did your custom intake pipework?
  23. Black Beast from the Aussie forum
