Posted November 15, 20168 yr Title says it all.....................enjoy . Tim and Fuzz are in West Sussex to rescue an iconic 1970s motor, a mighty Datsun 240z, which has been languishing in the garage of a retired GP for years while he put his work in the community first.
November 18, 20168 yr Author Missed this...but found some streams online, but it's actually s04e04 I don't think it is, more like someone else has labelled it up wrong and put it out there. E03 is a 1964 Volvo P1800 and the 4th episode in Series 4 is a 1934 Singer Le Mans
November 18, 20168 yr I googled s04e04 and it did come up with the 240z. Anyhow, nice restoration work but they do like to sell the cars a bit. Saying it's very quick without any context is a bit misleading, I'm sure it was, but damn it's a slowpoke now

Saying it's very quick without any context is a bit misleading, I'm sure it was, but damn it's a slowpoke now Understand what you mean, however it doesn't actually 'feel' slow when you drive one. I've been fortunate enough to drive one and whilst they won't set the world alight, with all the rudimentaries of a colander, they 'feel' zippy to drive and have a rawness that new cars don't offer. It's all about the overall experience and the 240z is a hoot to drive. The 240z had a claimed 0-60 of around 8 seconds which is under a second slower to 60 than an Astra GTE 16v, which was considered very quick in its day. Against a Corvette 350 from the mid 70s, the 240z was quicker by about a second. That's the context that I guess you're missing. ;)
November 18, 20168 yr Author Lets not dwell on the numbering, my source was the channel 4 website itself and it says it's episode 2 !!!
November 18, 20168 yr My source was the Car SOS wiki - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_SOS Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
