  5. Is the Apexi still the recommended gauze filter? What do they cost?
  6. I've read a couple of times on the Oz site there is no benefit of them over properly functioning Nissan ones.
  7. If it is O2 sensors have a look at this thread, post 3 by Redwine http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?169133-frigging-02-sensors
  8. Yeah I just saw your thread and wondered that. Was only cruising past but sounded a beast!
  9. Thursday afternoon driving through Taverham in the direction of Norwich on Fakenham Road. H plate
  10. Let us know what a pair costs you when you get them Draxan I need a pair myself!
  11. Cool so are you running the twin short intakes where the side mounts normally locate or the stock single MAF?
  12. Great effort mate, is it a stock intercooler setup as well I couldn't find the old thread with more info?
  13. I know the screw you're talking about I didn't touch it myself, I just chucked them in the dishwasher then held it open and wiped out any remaining residue with a rag with white spirit on. If you did want to take them off you could count the turns until it comes out I guess or put it back roughly where it was then adjust it while looking for light round the edges?
  14. Nice work Stu looks good, don't forget air in the front tyre:thumbup1:
  15. I wouldn't bother taking it back again the guy is clearly incompetent or can't be arsed if he's messed it up 3 times! Personally I would get a refund, sell the plenum as it is if anyone is interested and send the other one off to a pro, ideally someone recommended.
  16. Indeed, Mark went out his way to collect a part from a seller that decided he was going to ignore me for months after I had sent him the money last year:thumbup:
  17. Nah theres no gap on the butterflies I have mine off at the moment. Get the worst of the dirt off then stick them in the dishwasher they'll come up nice :shifty: When they are dry spray some grease into the moving parts and reassemble. I know the hole you are talking about in front, it just goes to one of the pipes underneath the throttle body and is EGR or carbon canister related, I can't remember exactly but it was nothing to do with idle on mine.
  18. Looks awesome! Two things I really like are the white stitching down the side of the seats and the steering wheel matching the rest of the interior
  19. Good link Out of interest does anyone know if the pipes that connect to the matrix and go through the firewall are available?
  20. What did your car make?
  21. Do you have access to a steam cleaner?
  22. Bloody huge - - - Updated - - - Bloody huge
  23. Just what I was thinking:biggrin: Good work Anthony looks great!
  24. Mark can you explain more about what you're doing when you gap the piston rings? What thickness feeler gauge do you use? Is it the same process for all the rings, im presuming there are three per piston?
  25. When setting up an EBC are there any ideal locations for the solenoid? I remember reading something like the vacuum hose should be as short as possible between the solenoid and the manifold, or the solenoid and the controller but I can't remember which or where I read it. Does anyone have any input on this? Secondly, depending on the answer to the question above im trying to work out how much 4mm and 6mm hose I need. I am running the stock recirc valves, turbos and wastegates with an aftermarket EBC. Thirdly, with regard to 'T-ing' of vacuum line for use by different items such as multiple boost gauges and boost controllers etc is there any problem with accuracy running several items from one feed inside the cabin? Cheerz guys
