  3. I have recently just grown a beard. No designer beard though, just au natural, homeless person styley. Everyone hates it lol even the girlfriend. To be honest though I don’t care, I like it.
  4. You can try hammering a socket over the lock nut and get it off that way. Or try a local tyre centre they can sometimes do it cheaply.

  7. Happy Birthday :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  8. Not really. It took me quite a bit of time to get out. Only problems I had was getting the gearbox out, just wouldn’t budge. I then realised it was because I had not pulled the dipstick pipe all the way out  . Then its just loads of fiddly things to remove and make sure everything is disconnected when lifting engine out. Probably take me a month to put back in lol :wack:
  9. The front of the car was lifed while i drained the gearbox oil. so would that be the reason? or could it be i was running low on gearbox oil? (sure it ws ok)
  10. No no mess why should it of? :(
  11. Well managed to get it out today :duffer:  First engine i have removed ever. Some pics :wack:
  12. Well another day. Well 4-5 hours just to take all the plugs and hoses off etc :smash: Tomorrow lower gearbox to get to them top 2 bolts. Take the gearbox off then lift the engine.
  13. Now i have seen a few posts on here saying: To get the engine out took the good part of a morning, or spent the day taking the engine out. :( Ive just spent the second day on it and i still need to seperate gearbox and then disconnect the wireing loom and then lift the engine out. Hard graft. Respect to you 300zx gods :duffer:
  14. Could you pm me too please  Thanks

  16. Hi I have a slight miss on tickover. Replaced ptu with a series 4. I'm sure it must be one of the contacts on one of the coil packs. I have just ran the conzult power balance test and i have no idea what i am supposed to be looking for!! On one pass cylinder 2 was red and on another pass cylinder 5 was red. Can anyone give me any idea what im looking for? Thanks
