  1. Hi Rachel, would have been nice to see you.. hope youre feeling better??
  2. My friend did this and got sent to hospital at 4.30am close to having hypothermia apparently.. said it was very tough.. well done mate..!!!
  3. is that the one on the a689? on the way to hartlepool? Drop me a text if one and Ill meet you there..
  4. Me too, never expensive and great for fishing. the other place is the edinburgh woollen mill often do some good bargains.. Have to fight the oldies for them though.. Is there a tresspass or something at Dalton Park selling the thin fleeces??
  5. Hi Guys, should be fine for me.. not been to seaton carew for a while so ice cream would be good?
  6. Mines a jap 94 and light was on all the time in said area. replaced the boss for a proper one. when i took it apart the previous owner had smashed it to bits.. Once fixed the light was still on. Slight leak in the power steering rack. If your fluid is even slightly low, the light comes on.. Been tempted at times to remove the bulb myself.. lol..
  7. Lee have you checked the fuse?????:tt2:
  8. Paul, I rang a few breakers.. in the end Jeff had some spare bulbs and sold them for a few pound each... I think they are normally chucked away...
  9. Cheers Smithy thats good enough for anybody. truth be known I did not know I had to pay extra duties when it came into the country so its more a lucky escape... I made me get the invoice out and also realise Ive been charged $175 for postage rather than the quoted $120. Would you raise a complaint considering? I would have purchased from Jeff and maybe the others asking in this thread but we only have your word on the price. If Id known the price Id have wanted to know clamping force, max torque etc.. I would rather pay extra from somebody that wants to sell me something than beg somebody to sell me something. I always worry should something go wrong.. I know ive got what I want and its capabilities for my needs. which would have been my worry buying Jeffs. My worry now is if something goes wrong.. support is hard when you buy from the States.. Im sending some rep for the useful info as well Bud..
  10. some interesting tats on display...:tt1:
  11. Didnt know that Mark and didnt even think to ask if Im honest.. i paid them for postage so thought the liability was with them so their risk? If it didnt turn up that is, but also paid with visa so thought I was well covered?? If not ill be well nervous if I do it again....
  12. Im going to replace the gearbox rear seal where the prop enters. Why its off I might as well replace any others that are appropriate. From reading, its just the rear crankshaft oil seal I believe I should replace so will get one ordered up
  13. Okay Guys, here goes, probably bought lemons.. lol.. I bought from http://www.conceptzperformance.com/. They were very helpful. Bought the Southbend DXD clutch- stage 3, 525 TQcap Fidanza flywheel ralco RZ shortshifter Polished radiator air guides (mainly because it was different to others Id seen). Total price was £730 delivered. pretty much the same price I would have paid for products from the UK, just had more choice available imprting. its the £70 postage and £30 import tax that bumped the cost up. If you can buddy up and split the postage and import duty cost is reduced significantly.
  14. Happy belated Birthday Buddy... Are you old enough to grow a beard yet?? lol...
  15. ill drop you a pm later mate, ive just imported my stuff and pretty reasonable prices after delivery and import duty.
  16. Looking at it, it didnt look like I would have to remove the clutch fluid? The master salve hose is the long one? If I do this any particular clutch fluid and how much will be needed?
  17. Cheers Graham. incidentally not doing a conversion just replacing a not so good manual box. Didnt get any bolts with the fly. Also putting a ralco short shifter whilst there, so should not need new bushes? Should I replace the front and rear crankshaft oil seal? Any need for loctite?
  18. Mailbox is full Mate....
  19. Daft ones but just want to be sure before I get started. Would you fit a new crankshaft oil seal and crankshaft bolts? Anybody know the torque settings? Is Mr F the best place for these? Gearbox oil - any preferences, how much and where are the level filling points Im fitting a fidanza flywheel so should I put new flywheel to crank and pressure plate to flywheel bolts on or can I re use? Should I use loctite and what torque settings are they? Lots of questions, just want to be certain before I have a go.. Cheers
  20. Why not?? some of the Zeds are a joke... lmao.. Ill bring mine, crunching gearbox and all... lol Joint meet is a good idea...
  21. Could probably set up a future one in York as well if you fancy??
  22. could anybody confirm for me that this is the right size hose so I can replacing the brittle vacuum hoses?? Hose Details: 6mm internal diameter, 11mm outer diameter (2.5mm wall depth) Cheers...
