Hes made a good living spinning that dream though? My family are from up that way and in all the visits Ive never met anybody pro Salmon.. So who votes for him? its Rylan again all over.. I love being British and it gives me more teams to cheer (apart from Murray, cant stand him.. lol) I hope it stays this way.. I live closer to Edinburgh and Glasgow than London, so when does the North East get independence? lol.. Since seeing this thread Ive asked loads of people the question and nobody has a clue... Who siad it was easy changing the gearbox?? Feck me.. couldnt get it lined up, had to tilt the engine... The gearbox isnt as good as I thought. Somebody had bodged the starter motor bolts so had to fix, sensors broken and others.. bit gutted really. damaged my clutch and flywheel (only very slightly) as was tired and the replacement bolt was a bit long and tightened it onto them... daft mistake.. Love the feel of the shortshifter. havent driven it far as finished in the dark. definately took more than 3-4 hours.... lol...

Bloody hell Dean, gutted for you.... Keep us updated.... At least it looked like the targas never leaked....

OUt of curiosity, the three sensors attached to the manual gearbox, what is it they do?

Whats the easiest way of getting the old seal out please? Couple of self tappers or take out the housing holding it in place? Cheers

There was a previous thread on this. I am with AF this year and its not been the easiest of nicest process, willing to share details if anybody interested but will not be re joining next year even if its cheaper. sorry.. I hope somebody hijacks this thread with a good experience..
