sensors on the gearbox

OUt of curiosity, the three sensors attached to the manual gearbox, what is it they do?

    Yeah, unless you have the very rare forth sensor which allows for FTL travel.......

    UK gearboxes have 2 sensors and 2 switches

     

    1 Vehicle speed sensor

    2 Reverse light switch

    3 Neutral switch

    4 Cooling pump temp sensor

     

    Import gearboxes have 1 sensor and 2 switches

     

    1 Vehicle speed sensor

    2 Reverse light switch

    3 Neutral switch

    Gearbox and clutch is all off, heres hoping isnt doesnt end up being on here as one of your this is not how to do it threads.. :laugh:
