Had to remove the carbon canister to fit my Toyo smic's, was in the way of the n/s one.was easy to do :)

Cheers mate.Had it done at a place in Shrewsbury, same guy that did all my welding the other week.His work is really good and I wouldnt use anyone else now

Got the old girl back today after having the tailgate smoothed, and am chuffed with the result :) Also fitted my vented centre panel and a couple of shiny bits off TwinTurboRich (cheers mate, look superb).i put some carbon fibre under the cutouts to make them stand out and I think they look good if I do say so myself.anymawho, heres some pics :)

I had to take these out of both sides when I had the back end welded the other week.you can only remove them with the rear bumper off as they slide in from underneath and are held in by four screws at the bottom and one at the top in the boot........and as said they are for ventilation :)

Glad you got them fitted ok mate.......did you connect the silicone vacuum line to the metal section or did you bypass it? :)

Have you tried wiping the seals with peanut (groudnut) oil? :)

just had a set of four 18" Falkens fitted (245/45 zrs rear and 225/45 zrs front) and they grip really well.paid £537 fitted including vat.

i prefer the spoiler-less look.i took the oe spoiler off my lwb yesterday as the paint was cracking on it and it had soaked up so much water it was unreal and was rotting underneath.While it was on the floor a big puddle formed round it as all the water drained out of it!!!.thankfully the tailgate is solid as a rock underneath it,so going to get the holes welded and get it sprayed.have also removed the rear wiper so will get that welded as well and taken the steel counterweight off as well.have got a fibreglass copy of the perspex strip to go on as well.Since removing the spoiler etc ive noticed all the annoying rattles at the back of the car have stopped as well so another result as rattles p*ss me off!. I think it would be a shame to spoil (excuse the pun!) that carbonfibre tailgate with a spoiler :)

I was originally told by autowindscreens that they could only supply uk spec blue tint screen with a dark blue top tint so I think you may be right Richard.But i was adamant I wanted a bronze tint and it turned out the guy at the branch that were dealing with mine owns a Skyline so they sourced a JDM spec bronze tinted screen.

No mate, mines a JDM but the green top tint screen that was in it was a genuine nissan one so whether it had been changed in the past i dont know but i prefer the green top tint with the black paintwork Edit...forgot to say the tint on the main part of the screen is bronze, same as all the other glass

18" forged Rays off a 350z.........sorry the pics arent a bit better.One thing to consider is the difference in tyre prices for 18s vs 17s :)

Autowindscreens did mine and supplied a bronze screen with a green top tint (same as the original nissan one that was in it, but made by Pilkington) pretty quick.They got the 1st screen in 2 days,but this was cracked and they sourced another one 2 days later.I would be surprised if you get the trim strips replaced as well though, mine were removed and refitted, but they did a really good job :)

Id try googling them.......my 18" Rays have got 'Z' centre caps, which I think may be standard on the 350z they are off originally :)

My zed is a series 1 and my ignition ring lights up red.ive got a cobra alarm fitted and when I press the button on the fob to disarm the alarm it unlocks the doors and puts the interior light on at the same time.

Lwb all the , and as for convertibles......in my own opinion they look as ugly as hell and more like a bloody kit car!

I know mines a TT but last week I fitted a F1racing stage 3 clutch and flywheel and the quality seems very good and comes as a complete kit with an alignment tool as well.The clutch is a bit on/off and a bit fierce to start with but is getting better the more miles I put on it, and they do recommend a 500 mile break-in period.So its so far so good and it was a good price as well.
