  1. i paid £400 for a complete manual conversion (down to the last nut and bolt), and added another £400 on a new clutch and flywheel and on top of that theres the cost of fluids etc.To be honest i wouldnt want to do one without a ramp, as it makes life so much easier and i know a man that can fit a complete manual conversion for you at a reasonable price if you like, its a mate of mine whos done 3 now :) there is usually someone on here with a manual conversion for sale, and usually a better bet than ebay as you have a better chance of getting a decent box off a club member.
  2. ok mate, cheers for that.will let you know if i need it.i suspect it may be the control unit what with the dimmer not working either.
  3. cheers Groover........so could this unit be the cause of my wayward intermittent wipers?.what else does this unit control?
  4. Since ive owned my zed the intermittent wiper switch hasnt worked, and the dash light dimmer hasnt worked and have been told it could be due to the timer control unit.........but where is it and what does it look like?
  5. With mine on the zed it just cost me my £80 excess, didnt affect no claims.
  6. Must admit ive never seen one before
  7. glad you got it sorted mate.....was it brute force in the end?.will be doing this myself in a few weeks as have got a spare subframe etc to refurb, so any tips? :)
  8. 140. something per litre....Tesco Momentum and that was just below a quarter tank to full to the brim. On another note.....does anyone else with a jdm have to jiggle the fuel nozzle about a bit to get fuel in?.If i push the nozzle straight in on mine the pump cuts off and i have to jiggle it to get the pump pumping...if that makes sense :)
  9. i see what you mean, but i put mine up once on another forum and ended up being bombarded with calls from all sorts of weirdos!....ended up changing my number so am overly cautious now :)
  10. why would you give out your mobile number on a public forum that any nutjob can access and call you non-stop at daft o'clock at night?????........just wondering?. :)
  11. Spot on guys :), first time ive filled the tank to the top!, I think the needle got altitude sickness going that high!.its super unleaded as well :)
  12. Did a £75 gauge mod last night.....can you see what it is? ;)

More to it than just planes!, plus they have a very large carpark.Had quite a few clubcalibra meets at Cosford and always got to park all the cars together and access off the M54 is good.
  14. Mines got a plunger........just seems a bit odd that mine has got s13 stamped on the end.....unless the actually aluminium body itself is the same between zeds and 200's etc just with a different piston etc fitted???
  15. Whenever my Calibra was threatened with the scrapyard in the sky she would develope self healing properties!.For about 2 years the heater control panel light never worked (p.i.t.a do sort out), and immediately after a rant at her the bulb lit up and from then on worked as it should!, and thats just one instance like that. The best one was a misfire that I couldnt track down despite changing the plugs, leads and coilpack etc, shouted that the "f#@king thing can go for scrap!" and the misfire instantly stopped!!!.......and never did it again.
  16. My clutch master cylinder with S13 stamped on it is fitted to a TwinTurbo and works fine.......and also worked on Hollowpoints old zed as that what my manual conversion was off

Thinking about it I must agree with andy, have been there a fair few times and its a pain to park, we'd all end up parked in different places as you wouldnt be able to park all together.

Birmingham, just off the M6 :)
  19. My clutch cylinder has got s13 stamped on it, so whether its the same as a 200sx im not sure but I think if you look on nissanparts.com you can cross reference part numbers :)
  20. Removed mine last week, it came off quite easily but left loads of sticky crap!.got the clip holes welded and the tailgate respray as the paint under the spoiler was yellow.
  21. And number 6 on the road screaming for its Mum!!!! :(
  22. Thank you.....May The Force Be With You....Always :)
  23. Autowindscreens did mine on my insurance (£80 excess), initially said they could only supply a uk spec blue screen (mines JDM), but the guy at the depot that dealt with mine runs a Skyline and sourced a JDM bronze screen for me and the guys that fitted it did a superb job.
