  1. Here you go mate pictures as requested. The pink circled bit is where you fix the scuttle on to the Z the plastic bit has come away from the scuttle as you can see in pic just needs bonding back, but apart from that I have both scuttles in excellent condition, available from middle of this week. You have first dibs.
  2. I was going to have this done before I got twin HKS Super Draggers, I was quoted £400 from powerflo but I think that was mates rates.
  3. Oops you know what I meant :wack:
  4. Yes mate I am getting steam, but do'nt know where from as I only seem to se a small amount come from underneath the bonnet while stopped at light after been driving it.
  5. Not sure but I do'nt think so???????????? Also I did'nt fancy staying under the car to long as only up on a scissor jack and I have seen my Z slip off a jack before, luckily I was not under it. But the garage I am taking it to will be able to find out for sure, just thought somebody on here would be able to put their finger straight on it.
  6. Yeah that grey N/A was amazingly fast. LOL
  7. It cannot be turbo coolant hoses mate, as its an N/A, but cheers anyway.
  8. I felt sorry for you and measured mine and the outside diameter is 55cm. HTH
  9. The metal tank thing is in the last pic, but there is no hole in the underneath or anything it seems to be coming from where something go's into the tank. Sorry about the non technical description.
  10. Help, my Z has started dripping at quite a fast rate my radiator coolant and water, I have taken some pictures below as it appears to be coming from some sort of metal tank beneath the engine where the cogs are?? Its not coming from either the radiator or the pipes by the looks of it, I have booked into a garage to get it sorted friday but I would like to know what you people think first. Any more questions about it please ask. It is leaking when the car is not running as well as when it is. All advice would be gratefully apprieciated. Many Thanks.
  11. His listing fee for that must be a packet.
  12. Bought a can of tint remover £4.99 and a tin of black tint £14.99  each tin is enough to do 2 lights  so tiny tins. Anyway using the tint remover now on front fogs and the old tint is coming off very slowly and I am getting as high as a kite, and its going to take fookin ages. So if anybody thinks about trying this DONT.

Untill they reach the temperature there set on?????????
  14. Cheers guys. The reason why I wanted the flare is just to make everything more authentic in the Z, to me its like not having the Targa bags, rear parcel blind, original tool kit and original floor mats. I have all these things which a lot of owners have missing from their Zs, and just wanted a flare to complete it all.
  15. 1. How much is a fair price to pay for one of the original flares for a jap spec Z?? I know there was on Ebay for a tenner plus a tenner p/p but it did not sell, and I would like one. 2. On a Traders website on here once I saw a polished S/S battery tie down with the Z logo etched into the top which I quite liked, are these still being sold?? who by?? and how much?? as I believe they where about a tenner when I saw them. Thanks in advance guys :duffer:
  16. My N/A only has 2 bulbs my right one is a fog light and my left is a reverse light. Mine passes first time every time so far. I think you might just have a finiky MOT inspector.
  17. The clips clip on to those plastic lugs on the back of the strip I will post a pic for you in a while.
  18. Silica gel is what the people who have stripped their lights normally use, as whats inside them from the manufacture is small tablets incased in a sponge which disintergrates on touch, they are normally shoved under the light unit and will not fall out untill you dismantle the light and turn it upside down. HTH
  19. Mines held on with those metal clips.
