I did this to in a petrol station after buying the car looked a right prat, pulled up to the pump released the fuel cap door then sat in the car pulling at the key for a while,untill i pushed button much to the amusement of everybody watching!! :rofl: :rofl: :nana2:

Hi all, I had a problem with my engine check light flashing, their is nothing worse than driving your pride and joy which you spend all your hard earned money on, then you look at your speedo and notice a orange light with a picture of an engine on it flashing. MY heart sank firstly because of the expence and partly the fact i was doing 70 ish on the motorway miles from home, it flashed for a few mins the went off then flashed again then went a few days without flashing, then flashed again. I booked it in with the Nissan garage and after all the lovelly car mate and how nice it sounds jargon they finally ran a diagnostic check and it came up with no problems.The chap said it might be a few things (1) It is running to rich (2) when i had my Clifford avant guard 4 intelli start alarm fitted they could have pulled out a wire or (3) It was left in diagnostic mode which he checked and said it was'nt. He said i could book it in and they could drive it find out when the light comes on check it with the manual and so on untill the find something, he said i was looking at £500 plus. So as it was'nt causing any problem apart from an annoying flashing light i took out the bulb.But has any one else experienced this problem on their Z? But i will need to put bulb back in one day in case i do have a serious engine problem. :confused: :confused:

Hi Iceworx, I drive a 300zx N/A with HKS full twin super drager 4" exausts, HKS superflo air induction kit, chrome induction pipes and a few other mods, and i have never had so much fun, I have also driven my mates T/T and that was spot on too once the turbos kicked in, so all in all what i am saying is driving any 300zx makes you grin from ear to ear whether its turbo'd or not.At the end of the day you can only go as fast as the car in front!!!

Baynzee, what make and type of alloys are those pictured on your black 300zx as i have been looking at various alloys, chrome spinners etc for mine but those really suit the car. If poss please can you post a link to a site with the alloys on with price etc. Cheers. :dance: :dance: :dance:

I used to have a snooper sd815 and it was rubbish bloody thing would'nt stop beeping!! was glad to get ridd of it. Kept me from speeding though :)

Hi, i think i read somewhere that they are trying to ban all radar detectors this year. I dont know if it will come into action or not, but if it does'nt i will definitely be buying a Road Angel 2 as they are the Dogs Danglies!! On Ebay for about £300.

I AM NEW TO THIS SITE BUT HAVE OWNED A 300ZX FOR YEARS LAST TIME I LOOKED AT THIS SITE THE THREADS WERE ANCIENT NO NEW MEMBERS, BUT NOW ITS PICKING UP.I HAVE SOLD AND BOUGHT BITS AND PIECES FOR THE 300ZX ON EBAY AND THATS HOW I MET LEGRATH, HE WON 2 S/S EXAUSTS I AVERTISED, HOPE YOUR HAPPY WITH THEM LEGRATH HE ASKED ME TO POST THIS THREAD SAYING HI SO HERE IT IS. I AM ALSO THINKING VERY SERIOUSLY ABOUT GETTING 18" rear alloys 9.5j/18 suited with ZR 265/40/18 18" fronts 8.5j/18 suited with ZR 245/35/18 WOULD THIS BE RIGHT FOR MY 92 J REG NON TURBO 300ZX? AND DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A DECENT TYRE THAT GRIPS WELL IN WET? ALSO LOOKING AT A HID KIT WITH BULBS FOR £250 AS THE LIGHTS ON THE ZX'S ARE RUBBISH AT NIGHT EVEN AFTER BUYING THE BEST BULBS, HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS AND HOW MUCH IMPROVEMENT IS THEIR?
