When i have my heater on there is a rattling noise comes from behind the dash i was told it sounded like somebody had dropped a pen down it, but unless they were really trying it couldnt have been done by accident. Has anyone else had a noisy heater, and what did you do to fix it.Also was told it might be the air conditioning unit needs a service?? :confused: :confused: :headvswal

I bought the first one i saw because me and my mate viewed it and our jaws dropped.It cost me £4000 to get right. When you look over the 300zx check EVERYTHING. Inside edge of front/ rear tyres, sills. I had 2 dents in the lower sill where some clown jacked it without using the strengthened jacking points :( :( :(

The easiest way to tell is to look at the front spoiler as T/Ts have vents either side of the main grill. After studying the picture it looks like my N/A front spoiler.Cheers mate.

I might be tempted to come along if o.k, as i am now thinking about keeping my 300zx as N/A dont seem to be going for as much as i would like for mine :( Problem is nowi have to decide whether to body kit it or leave it standard as i feel i will just be throwing my money away when it comes to resale value??

I have got the 100w H3's and they are better, but to be honest there still not brilliant. I think the only way to get brighter bulbs is with that HID conversion kit for £250. from ZX Racing. Cheers

Hi Animal the bulbs you are after are Two new H3C 3400K bulbs, made in Japan. Very expensive (PIAA are £23 each plus VAT and shipping) and difficult to find in this country, for example you can't get them from Halfords or any other car store i tried. These Xenon 55W bulbs produce alot more light than the standard ones (equivalent to 100W), but unlike some others dont draw any more current so you wont overheat your lamp housing or damage wiring. I have a pair of these in my imported Z32 Nissan 300zx. They fit the dipped beam and have made a big difference, whiter and brighter. You can see nothing with the standard dipped beam, people who are sitting in the car at night think you only have the side lights on. They also fit imported nissan s13 and s14, honda preludes, the toyota highlander and most other imports. you can get them from Ebay user id wonderyupie . He is currently not advertising them but he was selling quite a few so he might still have some worth a try. Cheers mate if cannot get i can send you info on converting H3 bulbs. cheers mate.

I had this problem when first bought car. Its warn bushes ,had mine replaced good as new no noise.

I have a tweeter either side of the dash but dont want to drill holes into dash to house them so temporarily stuck them on the dash, does anybody know if you can buy pillar pods for boost gauges that fit both sides of the dash that i can house tweeters in or do i have to get something fabricated??

Cheers fo that mate, as for suscribing what are the bennefits apart from the one you listed? i was a z club member for a while and i got the monthly mag but it mostly contained articles on the old zx,s and the sunnys so i did'nt bother renewing membership.
