  1. I'm hiding in your wheelie bin :ninja: Well, I hope you all enjoyed meeting my other half but his copy of battlefield 3 arrived this morning so you probably won't hear from him for weeks!!
  2. Hmm. Not the best time of year to be switching to 2 wheels! You be careful :scared:
  3. Was he part gorilla or something?
  4. My other half has a BMW. When it snowed last year, he couldn't get past the 1st speed bump and took an hour to get it back onto the drive. He fitted snow tyres and promptly took it up the steepest hill in Manchester centre!! Amazing difference. Would be worth it if your zed is a daily driver and the weather is bad enough but they ain't cheap and getting more expensive every day. I'm only doing it because my fiesta needs 2 front tyres anyway
  5. Heh! Even after all these years we still do waving hello/goodbye "bernie" style. So underrated that film:lol:
  6. a little warning for anybody planning to fit winter tyres- prices are rising! Was looking for a set for my fiesta. Found some at a decent price, then checked other sites. When I went back to the original ones they had gone up by a tenner!

Erm- well I assume so? I hope I wasn't gatecrashing and everyone was too polite to say anything!!

Yes! I'm coming from Manchester
  9. I spy with my little eye something beginning with s?!

Ok! I will aim for 12.30ish. Sort of in the middle

Wot time are we all getting there then. I'm 2 hours away so not too early please!!
  12. Heh! Well I was very proud of myself for fitting new windscreen wipers and filling the washer bottle  unfortunately, on a site full of mechanical genius, you are stuck with the dumb blonde!! Mind you, I would be very useful if you broke down, you could stand me next to the car looking pathetic :biggrin:
  13. I've got 19s but don't know how to post pics myself but you can have a shufty at my purple petrol eater thread, page 2 of newbies?
  14. I used halfords mixing service for a flat red. Turned out perfect match. Good for stone chips n stuff!
  15. Mine is purple. Doesn't show the muck quite as badly as the black but I do have to wax it after every wash. No cheating with two in one!
  16. Well, somebody has to go I suppose!! Another time maybe?
  17. Bit late now but my computery bf and all his gonky mates only use turtle beach so it's a good buy. And he doesn't annoy me too much when he's shooting baddies or whatever
  18. I just haven't got it. Not fair
  19. Looks like it's on high heels!!
  20. Huh! Well I went out in my newly repaired fiesta for the 1st time since I got it back. Shortly after leaving I realised my seat was soaking wet and I had a very soggy backside  Realised the door trim had been removed and not put back properly and the car has been leaking all weekend. When I looked underneath the trim, all the door frame is also rusting!! Aargh. So I've spent my last day of my holiday up to my elbows in rust ban. Doh! Gave myself a giggle when "we buy any car" offered me £370 for it! Anybody want a luvly fiesta!!
  21. Probably best to just leave it then. Everything else on it is also scratched so it will blend in!
  22. Repair kit looks interesting. Will give it a go. It's only a corolla so can't do any harm!
  23. anybody got any tips on how remove a scratch from a windscreen? The previous owner of my mums car must have had something sharp caught in his wiper. T cut doesn't touch it and my other half has hidden his dremell thing just cos I was going to give it a " quick rub over" !! :glare:
