  1. Spotted that. Looks great but I want twin pipes I think.
  2. Really nice day out and great to see a familiar face and some new ones! Will def have to do it again soon
  3. You should be washing your mankini. You can hang it out to dry when it stops raining. Wouldn't recommend tumble drying it cos it will shrink and the results could be even more horrific!!
  4. Maybe being blonde here but I can't spot a post code. Anybody know it?
  5. I'm not working so I can come
  6. Back to where it all began with altered beast!
  7. I found tps was good when I was with bt but not so good when I switched to sky and it doesn't stop foreign call centres ringing. And why are they always called David ??
  8. He probably needs it more than you anyway. I mean where will he keep his "the cat in the hat" books now?!
  9. If I'm not at work, I will be in Crewe, not too far away. Will try to bob down!
  10. Was ooh and aahing over a few of these at the classic car show at tatton park, Cheshire, yesterday. A few zeds there as well
  11. Always used to go out armed with a rape alarm and a squirty bottle of water. One or other would normally deter unfriendly dogs. Our Jake was a great dane x boxer and would fight if seriously challenged so I found prevention was better than cure. U get to be an expert in dog body language!
  12. Aw, poor pup. Unusual for a dog to go for a puppy. Hope he's better soon. Don't suppose the other owner left his details?
  13. Erm, considering mine is in a mount and regularly acts as my sat nav, thats kind of irrelevant, unless you are saying don't drive and hold it in your hand at the same time? But there is nothing to stop you using it and just slipping it in your pocket. use a hands free kit. Shove it in your glove box. Hide it for those thinking of a track day!! Also, for those people who can never remember where they have parked their car, if anybody has ever been to ikea or the Trafford centre in manchester, try walk me. Saves walking round like an idiot trying not to look worried!!
  14. driver zone. It records 0-60 and quarter mile times etc, g forces and other stuff. Makes the drive to work a bit more interesting!
  15. I've only ever been to one, Stockport v Crewe. I bent down to tie my shoelace n missed the only goal!!
  16. looked like a dark grey j reg. Very nice from what I could see thru the rain
  17. My other half wanted to keep his motorbike in the dining room but I said no. He's already got a saxo drivers seat in there that he uses with his playstation!
  18. He's not for sale!! But if I ever have to let him go I will let you know
  19. Your right . If I did it again I would do it differently. I honestly believed the thrust bearing was at fault which would have been covered and avoided going back to gordons. I work shifts so I need a car and couldn't have it off the road whilst I went the legal route. Getting it done independantly was a bit of a knee jerk reaction. At least I know it's been well repaired. Tbh you're always gonna be spending money on whatever car you drive I just don't like being ignored!!
  20. Aah! Obviously somebody with excellent taste!
  21. I have to go to work now so I've not got time to reply to this fully, but can I say this fiesta is my 25th car so I'm not a complete retread when it comes to car buying! I was told the transmission sounded normal when I took it in for repair, not when I bought it. I did tell them it took a few minutes for the heater problem to kick in. Cant put everything I said to them in this post but I think you're being pedantic there. Heaters set to cold. It's blowing boiling hot should be enough. If I could have spoke personally to md I would have. Certainly wasn't for lack of trying. Wasted alot of time liaising with ford direct, fords complaint department who promised they could do something to sort it. Can add them to my list of useless ford people :mad2:
  22. Thanks. That would be great. Will have a look n let you know what I find. Ta for the link!
  23. Unfortunately my voice gets all high pitched n squeaky when I shout so it doesn't really have the desired effect!!
