  1. I was the member that was up there at the weekend just gone Hes nowhere to be seen, his girlfriends in a mess as shes pregnant, hes been lying about this for quite a while now aparently, He lost his job well before xmas, but he told me (and I think another member) when I tried to contact that he couldnt answer coz he was at work. he seams to have used different accounts to clear money, And the police have already been round, I had quite a chat with his girlfriend (not the name mentioned in this thread) and she showed me a shed full of parts, a rear garden full of parts and the car on ramps. Anyone who wants any more info can pm me

  3. This realy made my blood boil, recieved it off my nephew tonite Please pass this on. It only takes a minute. The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit you can expect a NIP with your monthly bill. If you care about our freedoms and stopping the constant bashing of the car driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/traveltax/

  7. A few years ago I used to manage a telecan office and this is the lowdown on the TPS. Every telecan company is supposed to be registered with them and should recieve an updated file of registered people, dependant on which sort of technology they use depends on weather this gets used or not. Unfortunately this isnt the law, they DONT have to register!! however if you tell a telecan company that you are registered then they should never ring you again....They can be fined up to £15000 if they do, only problem is that most 'fly by night' comanies use a false name when they ring or wont tell you properly who they are. So registering with the TPS doesnt give you much of anything realy. Thats the way it used to be, although some one one here may now tell me completely different!!
  8. Sorry to mess you about, ive got to fly out of the country, Didnt no untill today, sorry again

  11. Dont know how but you need to nip it quick My missus worked in a casino in blackpool, and the stories shes told me are pretty scary, people loose cars houses and families on the turn of a card, they would go in on pay day and loose thier wages before they even went home. I was lucky, I used to like a night in a casino, I remember 1 night having almost spent my 'gambling budget' and having a fiver left, thinking to myself now i can get a taxi home or i can go back on the blackjack and walk home, then i stopped dead in my tracks....At no point did i think i was going to win, I realised i was just throwing away the money. Never been in a casino since!! The way i see it youve got 3 years before he's allowed to do some real damage in a casino or bookies, Good luck mate

  17. Yep still got em, got a decat kit but times always a problem for me, Thought it may be that but didnt5 want eve3ryone laughing if it was a wrong suggestion So two questions if it is the cats 1 is it dangerous/detremental? 2 if it is this that means that its got sensors, what do i do with them if i decat?

  19. Brought my zed home tonight, the first time ive driven it since JAE, and a strange warning light kept coming up on the dash, it didnt seem to follow any pattern and i didnt take the car over 65ish at any time, Ive never seen this warning light before and wondered what it was, when i got home i checked the manual and the light isnt shown in there, Id apreciate any help i can get in finding out what this is. However i cant post a picture of it so ill try and describe it............ Warnig light is red, it appears in the light cluster next to the 'handbrake on' light on the left hand side of the dash (light is to the right of handbrake light) It looks like a drawing of a silencer with 4 heat type lines rising from the top of the silencer (like the symbol you would find on a microwave to signify a heat setting. Although i drove her for about 25 miles there was no difference in performance at any time and all gauges read like they should Its realy bugging me so any help would realy be appreciated
  20. Bury, Mines off the road at the moment too
  21. Dont know how old your dads car is mate, but i had a 2.9 jag and his symptoms ring a bell, i had problems for a couple of months with mine, it used to start when it pleased it would run perfectly for days, then it wouldnt start, i had it in 2 garages (not jag, i couldnt afford it) and they came up with different reasons which i tried to fix but all to no avail. Then 1 day it just refused to start, I run the battery flat trying, Phoned a friend of mine for a jump start, he came round late that night and we tried jumping it, it was only then when it was dark that the problem showed itself......the whole of the engine bay lit up like blackpool illuminations! the coil had broken down and was arcing everywhere, new coil at 12 quid and car run for next 2 years without a hesitation. Hope this helps, sometimes its the simple things that you miss
