  1. I thought I read a while back that a serial/usb converter causes problems with the program, I may be wrong though.
  2. I could be interested in a group buy, but only have usb ports on my laptop, so I think that means I can't use Conzult. Is this right?
  3. Is that a sodastream on the back??
  4. I have the same problem at about 120mph on a jap TT auto, although I'm on an oem ecu. So watching this thread like a hawk!!!
  5. No bonnet mod, just a hicas delete should do ;)

Sorry guys, Castle combe a bit too far for how much I trust my z to go at the moment. Cant wait for something a bit closer though!!
  7. Keep looking, I found it ;)
  8. WOO-HOO!!!!!!! Thank you again Jeff!!
  9. Sorry Jeff, I dont understand. Code 10 means no problems found, doesnt it? I have recently had a flat battery.
  10. After doing some research I'm now not sure if I've got the "all clear" code or the "open or shorted revolution sensor" code. The code I was given was 1 long flash followed by 10 short flashes. Is the long flash the signal for the beginning of the code or is it the beginning of the actual code?? Does that make sense?
  11. Thanks for your help Jeff, I'll try to get that tested tomorrow. I am right in thinking its one of the connector blocks by the hicas unit?
  12. Being an import you should have the integrated oil cooler in you radiator. If you look further down under the top right coolant pipe of the radiator (from the front of the car) you should see two smaller pipes, one above the other about halfway down. If so you need a new radiator and seperats oil cooler or a good used import spec radiator.
  13. I wish mate, eventually. But first Ive got interior to finish. Then exterior rust spots and that doesnt include the fun surprises that it likes to give me every other week. Never mind stops me getting bored, hey?
  14. Hi guys, Ok, I've been having problems with the auto-box and the speedo on my TT. Intermittent speedo and intermitent flashing power light. So I've just been underneath and done the speed sensor fix, took it round the carpark and it seems to have worked. Then I did the auto diagnotic and its throwing up "open or shorted revolution sensor" can anyone help me with what to do now???? Erm..... I'm actually sitting by the car now, so if anyone can answer straight away that would be hugely appreciated. :begging Thanks
  15. Oh well, at least I know it really exists. I'm in Dereham quite a lot, so annoying.
  16. Same one thats been spotted around Dereham by friends of mine on numerous occasions, I should think. Never seen it myself though!!
  17. Hi mate, I have same problem. I'm on phone so cant copy and paste a link, but try searching "brake advice" in this section. I think gary posted a link on there worth reading.
  18. Hi mate, I cant help with the pic problem, but dont worry someone will any minute ;) Oh, well done :) nice car!!!!
  19. Reading and thinking over this thread with great interest!!! Please bear in mind I am a relatively new member. I think for me (and probably a lot of owners to be) the main point here is the availability of reasonably priced replacement parts. I'm not saying they are currently unavailable, because I think through the suppliers already mentioned and the club, most parts can be found. However, there is clearly not a long list of suppliers and that seems a bit scarey!! We cannot expect to rely on 2nd hand parts forever. If there is something we can do by working together, then I for one will be more than happy to help. I think the idea of having a list of compatible parts on other models is a great idea. Forgive me if there is one, I've forgotten some of the previous posts. ;) I would also like to point out that I am one of the users that only uses the site on my phone, I really don't have that much access to home laptop/pc due to children :( I raise this point because the online search feature is not that great on a phone and the "rep" system simply doesn't appear. Now I know this is not a fault of guys that create this site, but I think people should be aware that some of the actions of the users happen because they are not on a laptop/pc. The main thing (imo) is that there are experienced people on here that are worried about the future of our cars and that, to me as a bit of a newbie is very worrying. Raising the profile of our cars can only help, and this thread has made me realise that. I hope others read this thread too and we all start doing what we can to help.

    Ok, will do.
  21. And I fairly sure you should replace the tensioner (someone please correct if I'm wrong).

Any news on what sort of time you are meeting up??
  23. My son saw a black tt in Dereham, Thursday afternoon going through the town. I have been told numerous times by different people about this car, but never seen it myself. It has become a bit of a mythical beast. :)
