I've never bought anything from pistonheads before but a friend of mine may be interested in a car from there. He has emailed the guy 3 times now (no phone number on advert) without response. Do you have to be registered in any way with pistonheads to reply to their adverts? TIA Rob.

An elise would need some serious power upgrades to reach that figure. A turbo or supercharger would do nicely :D

I think the manual states there is 15 litres left when the light comes on, so your figures pretty much tie up with that :D

Pete what clutch have you got? Bear in mind the stock clutch dont last 5 minutes running 15psi....... :( Might be worth killing 2 birds with one stone this time.

My 'old' 1998 Series 5 slicktop :cry: and my current other two LWB TT manuals. Russ_T has her now :dance: :D This car was genuinely the cleanest original Z I have ever laid eyes on! Immaculate.

It might sound long winded, but another option is to remove the downpipes and work on the O2 sensors on a bench, or in a vice or so..........

Those things are awesome! Handle like a dream and the engine is fairly pokey too. Oh and a glorious 3 cylinder soundtrack (much better than all the boring 4cyl sh!t).

They are parrallell type, as opposed to the RX7 sequential type ;)

Stock Z has 4 pot calipers up front and 2 pot rears :D Any engineering shop will sort out brackets for you. Ideally you'd need to give them a spare hub to measure everything up.
