  1. With the exchange rate right now, you can get turbos, injectors, IC's and pistons all for under £18 from America
  2. Whoops! Ignore me then :D :duffer:
  3. Well I found this with Stevie007's car, the connections looked nothing like the ones on the back of the UK cluster. I had a set of UK S1 clocks to fit in. Yes the plugs were all different but the actual clocks were different too. His was a 180kmh set, mine was the UK 180mph set. But, having said that, on my black car it had S2/S3 Nismo 300kmh clocks, I bought a S1 UK set and swapped over the dials no problem at all. I think the UK set will fit in a 300kmh setup, but not a 180kmh setup. Can anyone correct me on this?
  4. I'd do it, you can always buy new friends later. No hang on, did I get that right? You can buy a new Zed later  ;) Seriously, good luck in whatever path you choose.
  5. NP dude! Looks like an epic trip you guys had LOL. :duffer:
  6. Christ! I'd have thought so too. Not much height left for a spine and a head to exist I dont think? :(
  7. Couldn't that transport company sort you out mate? :(
  8. This needs to be stickied. Especially post #5 from Graham S I've just checked and changed mine. It was 17.5 deg and I keep dropping down into safety boost, oh CAS was loose too  I reset it to 15 deg and will try it a bit later to see if it's cured the prob. Many thanks Graham! :duffer:
  9. Yeah I saw it!!!!!!! Don't worry, they will export it soon enough LOL
  10. Nice one Darren! Glad you finally got your V8 beast :) I've always liked the 840 and 850 just something about the shape, almost as timeless as the Z32! Well done, but save your pennies for a '99 spec and come join us again in a while :p All the best. Rob.
  11. Nice! Leaves a few hundres RPM left for overrevving too :hyper: Looking at this thread: Clicky at the double ton you will need 463rwbhp. Off the top of my head I cant remember what RPM this is on a manual gearbox car? Looks like you're in good shape to get some serious top end. :)
  12. Best thing is to polish all the journals with at least 2000 wet and dry. I did mine on our lathe at work, but I guess I'm spoiled having such machinery at my disposal.
  13. The trouble with scooters is the amount of 'training' you go through for the CBT. It's laughable. 1 day and you have a licence to ride up to a 125cc machine. In that time there is no way you're going to learn how to ride safely. Basically they are kids on very fast push bikes. A recipie for disaster especially when the kids' mates have all done the same and they go out together. I think my lad crashed his scooter within 3 weeks of having it on the road, crashed it a few times since and completely destroyed it in the end, luckily he never got hit by a car, only chucked it down the road.
  14. Yeah! With an aftermarket front bumper I think? The GTR is pure sex tho! omg
  15. The TT VVT inlet camshafts are hollow. When the ECU assess all the parameters and decides to fire the VVT soleniod, oil will flow through the centre of the camshaft towards the front of the engine. The large pullies have a helix type mechanism in them. When pressurised this will turn the inlet cams 'X' degrees on the sprockets. It is for giving nice torque low down and mid range, and also for boosting top end power. Best of both worlds then really :)
  16. A TOTB winner in a box LOL That's what I say! Well done fella, that'll be the quickest Z32 over here I'd guess?
  17. Import it, enter in in TOTB, get the trophy, sell the car :D ;) Easy decision! :p
  18. trust my old man to find the weirdest chit on youtube !!! LMAO

  23. LOL classic thread! Stella & znut you guys crack me up :D
  24. LOL superchargers can boost a whole load higher than that ;) Pre-war F1 days the Mercedes and Auto Union cars used to be supercharged to 60psi! Around 5-600hp too! You might find todays top fuel dragsters are running same or more boost than that to get over 5,000HP if only for 5 seconds  :duffer:
  25. ROFL! What a complete c0ck! How much BS did he spout and expect ppl to believe him? That part winds me up!
