just aquired a asus eepc901 netbook i need to reformat it has anyone out there got the asus restore dvd for this machine cant download it anyhwere its on xp not linux could anyone copy one for me please

there has been posts on this before they used it on a classic car rebuild on the tv a short time ago

its ok getting the software and pluging it in its knowing how to interpret it that matters

cheers budd will try tomorrow does the engine need to be at normal operating temp first so it dont fast idle when cold

all i did was knock the tps and it moved anti clockwise vey slightly and idle speed went up so i moved it back clockwise have i broke it

no its not sticking as such its just idling high what position should the tps be with throttle closed

have been under bonnet this afternoon and managed to somehow move the tthrottle position sensor moved it back to where it was before now cant get it to stop fast idleing as if the throttle is sticking can someone help please
