what year is your car was it tested as a cat or non cat

Yes passed with flying colours because u have to test as a none cat because the 300 is not in the vosa database so they cant get a match

there IS no one up here id trust you need someone with CONZULT to set it up properly no one up here knows enough about the zed (could always go to evans halshaw)!!!!

i was the same with a mk2 mondeo £550 for the mondy and only £220 for the zed

its a extension for the front seat belt so its not as tight fit theres loads on ebay but the buckle fitting is not correct

Think ive done this before but does anyone now where i can get a front seat belt extender for my 300

got some replacement valves just wondered how easy they are to fit some pic would be help in trying to locate them

Thankyou so very very much Paul for all your help & advice, it paid off, car passed after explaining to the garage what you advised. You are one top bloke.:thumbup1: Anyway, we got the zed back, when it went in it had 105707 miles on the clock & 1/4 tank fuel, we got it back with a fiddled with stereo, 105776 miles on the clock & a splutter to say we where running out of fuel!!!!!!! Thing is....................what would you do? Our lass wants to kick off & kick @rse but the bill came in at £354, our lass said she couldn't pay & it would be end of month, they said ''ok thats fine, dont worry about it, just whenever''. They are a very laid back garage with pretty good customer service but we are still p1ssed off at what may have happened to the zed whilst not in their care having its brake pipes done. I'm just concerned if some tw@t has thrashed the @arse off it for fun. Whats your opinions? Thanks, Bob

hi paul me again just been to the mot place this am with the info i go yesterday spoke to the tester and showed him the database he was not sure and said he would have to contact hie rep and thats how ive left it but at first they were convinced it had to be a cat test until the database was mentiond

cheers for all that ithink all theyve done is the bet and nowt else so its come up with a lambda reading i will sort it tommorrow once again many thanks paul

so let me get this right even though he selects the correct year the z32 will not be there so he must be using some other data to test it against eg z33 to get a lambada reading becase the z32 should be non cat tested because there is no exact match

cheers for that bud i just need to be clear when i go in one thing i did notice on the screen was a drop down window after he put the reg in he clicke on poss 1 of 3 choices any ideas on this dont know whether all garage sofware is the same or not first time ive done a mot for some years your help is much appreciated

Sorry to be a pain but even if they type in the reg number and continue should it tell them its a non cat test or is that a testers decision
