  2. yep this is right i have 2 old ECU's but as there NA/auto ... i tried selling them on ebay but with no luck as i can do the socketing my self was just wondering on the compatibility with other cars once Some others Rom Chip is used it would only be the bare ECU no Rom or map that would be up to the buyer to sort and that way i wouldn't be treading on any traders toesys :) Mark
  3. ok thats good news .. Most ppl that want a chipped ECU will most likely to be using EBC anyways and that Overrides the Safety Part anyways
  4. Can someone confirm that the dirrents inbetween them all is just the eprom chip ? So a na/tt auto Na/tt manual I know u can use auto ecu on manual.. Just wondering if I can socket some na/auto ecu's that then can be used With tt eprom chip Mark
  5. long as its the same series unit it will work .. Speedo will be out but other than that rpm/fuel/temp will work

  7. well not sure its the Pot but something on the board thats gone ...
  8. it will be the dash pod gone faulty as it reads from the ECU and u said blitz is working
  9. there the same bearings for the rods .. if your crank is spot on and no re-grounding is needed .. just check ALC STD Size bearings for both rods/main these will work with all Rods
  10. Main/Head bolts can be reused but its all ways best to replace i have a Set of New Eagle Rods for sale in the next week for £300 are you interested ?

  13. the Ceramic Comp wheels was only fitted to some of the Early s13/s14 cars .. and do share the same tub Housings as the 300z ( T2-25 ) tub but thats about it Non of the 300z had this type of turbo .. they may have been swapped at some point for s13/s14tubs and as u say ceramic comp wheels are well known for exploding on boosts of 20psi more

  19. when Auto boxs came on the market they was only 2 speed .. but then the demand on better control and economy needed a 3rd gear and so on as the gears went on till now with modern cars having 5>6speed autos think they ditched the ( overdrive button ) Auto 1st is under drive 2nd is under drive 3rd is Direct Drive Ratio 4th is Over drive ratio Manual 1st under drive 2nd under drive 3rd under drive 4th Under drive ( 5sp box its a Direct drive ) 5th Direct drive ( 5sp box its a Over drive ) 6th Over drive this is normally how close Most gear boxs are in to out ratio
