  1. now thats hard to say ... would guess around a week ... but my working time was spred over evenings and waiting on machine shop with there time ... and waiting for stuff

  4. the consult lies ... regarding the switch ... just do it manually and it will be fine
  5. Well its Running as from 10pm it started on the first fire ... ( after priming for few mins ) .. Spent the morning with vody and his gear box didnt start getting my engine in till 4pm just need to sort Rad & Fans out Prop shaft Exhaust bonnet inside trim ( gear leaver ) Clean in side and out
  6. on another Note Vody ... ... My engine is in car and running ... :) it fired up first time at 10pm and sounded sweet as a nut

  12. ok theres a few ways to determine the correct compression on the engine but 2 of them involve tools that are quite expensive so the easy way is knowing that your block is stock ......... then when you have any work done to it Machine shop should/will tell you how much has been taken off Heads/Block the manufactures have Set gaskets at different thickness's lets say 1mm is stock ... then it will go by 1.2 1.4 1.6 so on so no machined heads u will use Stock gasket ... if the machine shop as taken 0.1mm from head u have to use 1.2mm gasket problem u all so get is u are decreasing the compression ratio a little ... so the best is to get a Close'st match as Poss if your Heads/engine is unknown then u have to have the Volume/compression ratio tested Machine shop will have those spacial tools to work that out
  13. the Main block was checked me and the machine shop .. and all was level and clean so there was no need for decking ... but the heads did get skimmed and this all ready had to go to the next thickest gasket if i had the block decked just for the sake of it means i would all so have to get the 3rd thickest gasket and this then starts to rely more on that to have the compression at the correct ratio
  14. i got lent one of them type-r gauge's ... it rattled like fook ... the turbo Pulsing down the vac like making the mech inside doing rattly sound

  18. How much play. ? About 3mm is max movement for jornal type tubs little less for bb tub
  19. A bit of Porting of the heads to match the manifolds bigger holes Original are 29mm high x 34mm wide .. now 35mmx38mm just a note that the holes look a little rough ... they have been smoothend off
