  3. get a flex measure tape . measure the Complete dir of both Old pulleys and new and i can work out the RPM differents for u
  4. you are correct ... it will under drive the water pump ... so to correct the pump speed it needs to have a smaller pulley on pump to match
  5. you dont wipe with thinners ... you use panel cleaner and tac cloths and you can use Wet and Dry paper ... ( with water WET ) this way it will not clog up the paper with dry paint

  9. there all fine no scoring marks ... Just use std shells and clean/polish the crank Post 8 pic1 ... thats worn few more thousand miles and that prob be knocking
  10. put the big end bearings up and crank pics ...
  11. the main bearings are worn but nothing drastic ... 1st bearing looking the worst thats kinda strange as its the first one on the oil dist tree crank looks to have little pick up specs ... but that can be polished out anyways

  13. i went to see one thats been sitting on a drive way here in derby last week it was 1990 Stock TT not in the best of Condition but when i asked if hes selling it he said 5k ... when i told him i got one he trying to tell me every thing about it .. even tho he could see mine parked on the front ... he did ask me what they been going for he didnt like my reply to 500>1200 lol

  16. the engines are the same ... and yes would say its a S2 engine ... but its only the electronics that was different across from 1/2/3/4 Bar Some of the Early S1 89/90 engines had different valves installed (made from different metals) other than that Nothing ... Engine code is on the Back>top of the Main Block Drivers side

  18. They are 94spec cams ... Work no diffrent nor have better vvt parts to older style it was done just to ade in setting up the timing mark correctly at the factory People say they don't work on older engines ... They do but u need to make sure timing mark is correctly aligned up
  19. Yeah that's great for belt pulleys ... But the main timing belt sprocket ... There's no room to get a fork type remover on it
